If a trade does happen between North and Richmond future picks will be involved giving Richmond a better package, just because this video is the 2024 draft i made it 6 and 10 so the video can be as simple as possible.
@Saints_Nation that makes more sense! I've seen heaps of mock drafts with Richmond trading 6 + 10/11 for 2 with nothing coming back which makes no sense (for Richmond).
Yeah I see Essendon trading back into this draft either straight after the Kako bid or when they think the guy they want will be bid I like Armstrong (if they trade in front of the Kako bid), Shanahan (after the bid) or maybe even Berry (Also after the bid). Docker, giants or Eagles wound be interested in 2 future picks especially with Tassie coming maybe if Essendon traded there F1st and F2nd for the giants 3 picks and trade 15,28&30 for pick 4 worth it, my point is there’s many options.
Yeah I would expect them to trade in after a bid for sure, Shanahan would be the top priority after the bomber saw firsthand how good he was at VFL. If you are referring to trading a future 1st and 2nd for picks 15,16 and 21 however I don’t see the value in that for the Giants, next year is very compromised pool with lots of academy and father son kids making up the first round so every live trade on draft night will most likely be overs for the team trading out of this years draft
Tauru, Trainor, Brew and Stevens. Good shouts for North and overall a good mock draft! Alot of people are sleeping on Trainor and if North landed him, then Tauru could very well play more forward minutes like you suggested as Trainor can dominate the defence. Brew is an intriguing choice considering Norths midfield depth, but I do see the benefits on continuous filtering of the list refinement. After shifting Pink to be rookie listed River Stevens sounds like a lock for joining North and will be a great addition to our small forward stocks.
West Coast have never highlighted WA boys over best available. When we split our early pick for Hewitt and Ginbey it was to get two low picks and we rated these boys as the best available
Great draft man. Just wanting to know how Brisbane only using 3 2nd round picks to match an Ashcroft bid. My calculation is 2034 - 20% is 1627 and the points of 28, 35, 43 total less than 1600. My feeling is that they use their start of 3rd round pick also and the balance left rolls into a later pick
This would AMAZE me mate. Trainor should be the first 193cm+ player taken in this draft. Armstrong hype & Tauru draft camp eye candy has put a lot of people's footy radar off kilter.
Great effort here. Just two points re west coast. The "go home factor" isn't as strong of a thing for them. Try and point to one example of a player choosing to go home besides Judd nearly 20yrs ago, it hasn't happened. The media talks about it every year in reference to them, especially last year with Reid, but it's never been a thing that affects that club. In this scenario, with the players gone by west coast's pick at 15, I agree Bo Allan is the best choice. Don't rule WC out for Lindsay or Hotton because they are from interstate though. If you look back at who WC have picked in the first round over the past 15 years I think you'd be surprised by how little of them are from WA. The club has always taken who they think is best available with the first pick regardless of where they are from. Some food for thought for your next mock. Cheers Edit: Kayle Gerreyn not a need and a complete misread. WC have B.Wiliams, J.Williams, A.Reid, H,Barnett, C.Jamieson, C.Livingstone to play Fwd/Ruck we don't need a 7th option haha. Back to the draft board with that one.

@@deancasey774 it’s not a mistake, while they need to add depth to their midfield and forward line if there is a great key position player who slides like an O’Farrell they can afford to draft them especially with Keath’s retirement
@@bomberwarren A high quality 2nd key defender type would be an asset considering Corr's age and Logue's injury history, however just like you, I am not fully invested in North grabbing a defender with their 1st pick. I am certain that the North footy dept. is tighter than a fishes arse these days, so the Tauru certainty amongst draft watchers has no realistic basis. The entire pile on is based on ONE tabloid comment founded on pure speculation. There is no direct quote supporting this claim......and yet we see consistent draft analyses based on North trading pick 2 as if this Tauru matter had a factual basis!
@@Andy-o2f I think Tauru is a certainty, Trainor I don't think will be taken in the first round. From what I've been reading north will take a key forward and the people saying north will use Trainor as a key forward are clutching at straws personally I would take shanahan as I don't think north could get Tauru and Armstrong unless they trade with the saints and I don't think that is happening.
My big thing with North is the midfield depth they already have with Sheezel, Wardlaw, LDU, McKercher, Powell as well Duursma and Simpkin most likely getting stints in there next year. Thats 7 players IMO start next year for north in the midfield while also having Stephens and Phillips who both played 10+ games, so while draper is a good prospect i think grabbing 2 Key Position talents is more important to a North team that needs another tall to support Larkey and a key defender that can replace an ageing Corr. Let alone are they scared to draft another South Australian midfielder at the top of draft which could come with a go home factor that is out of the clubs control.
@Saints_Nation if north trade pick 2 I don't believe they are even considering picking midfielders, may as well just stay with pick 2 and take osullivan
Clancy Dennis, Floyd Burmeister and Gabriel Stumpf are the 3 I’d like Collingwood to take, Burmeister looks like a Joe Daniher to me
Richmond aren't doing 6 + 10 for 2. Why does no one understand this?

I can see Saints getting 2 with pick 8 and F1.
This seems the more likely option if Richmond don't want to trade pick 6
I’m a tiger and I’m certain we will trade 6-18 for 2 and a future 2nd

You got Jasper Alger twice going to Essendon and Port
Thanks
I see North taking Jobe Shanahan over Trainor if he is still available. He would complement Larkey very nicely

Crows taking Langford when they already have Dawson and Curtin, lmao.
Jasper Alger went twice
Yeah a mistake i noticed after the video went live, to fix it i would have them take Lucas Tovey who is Key Defender from Oakleigh

It's better than most. I can't see North taking Tauru and Trainor, nor favoring Tauru OVER Draper. Try Trainor & Lindsay.
Again, why is every saying north are taking Tauru and Trainor it makes zero sense

will bronny james be drafted
I think Essendon will take ough
Josh Murphy is not replacing Joe Daniher he's only 190cm
Eagles haven’t committed to champion yet so hopefully they don’t match the bid ha
