This is the most affected I've ever been over tv or film. They did so well giving the characters depth, I couldn't help but feel for them. I was invested in their story, and it still hurts so much rewatching the show, even after so many years.
I usually would try and make it seem like I was crying when I watched other shows so that I could feel more empathetic than I am, but that wasn’t necessary for this show. I’ve been crying for 17 days now.
If anyone asks me why I loved this show, I'll present this. I love the medieval fantasy stuff, but I didn't love Merlin for its magic, epic fights or dragons ; it was for the story of ONE friendship, the most genuine I've ever seen on screen and I want to thank them for that. The writers have done well, but Bradley and Colin have done GREAT. ❤🥺
The moment when it shifted from Arthur hugging Merlin to Merlin holding Arthurs lifeless body ond pressing their foreheads together BROKE ME 🥺🥲 but it was truly perfect editing *chefs kiss* 😙🤌

This is one of the best merthur edit I've seen. Like really. Me and my father watched merlin and I showed him this masterpiece... and he loved it! sadly he passed away last valentines day. But I'm happy that I've shown him this edit

the writing for these two was good but what sold it to me was the chemistry between the actors that permeates into their roles. all those little details, the glances, the stares sometimes, the eyes, the smiles. not enough hair ruffles though and certainly not enough hugs, no not nearly enough hugs

I recently run across Merlin.i never heard of it so I went all the way back to season 1 watched the entire series.i can't get over how well this show was.the characters the story line it was all just excellent.even though I am a 56 year old man there were many times that I had a tear fall.i honestly hated for it to end.if all people had the loyalty and heart that Merlin had we would all be better.
