  • In today's video, I reviewed how I make $300 a month selling firewood at 14 years old. From log to stand. I got started with some wood from a neighbor who is moving away, and I now have many cords of wood and still more soon. I took inspiration from ‪@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans‬ and ‪@FirewoodattheFurnace‬. I hope to grow my business doing wood and lawn care. Some equipment I hope to have in the future is a ‪@ScagPowerEquipment‬ stand-on mower and an ‪@EastonmadeWoodSplitters‬ Ultra.

Dude, you’re like me nonstop working as hard as you can to keep accomplishing your goals while still loving to work with whatever industry you’re in, example I’m in that grass cutting industry 🤙🏻, It’s therapeutic for me to spend hours and hours mowing, weed whacking snowblowing, etc. keep up the good work man👏

Awesome work Oliver. A great example of what any young persona can do if they're given the opportunity and means to do so. Keep doing what you do.

Would it be easier to drive the wedge off to one side of the log?

You should put a fire wood sign where it’s more visible for people to see

The VDOT d*ckheads took it down... but they leave alone the signs posted everywhere that say "empathy"...

The prices you have, I’ll tell you what I’d be there 3 times a week for those prices. If I was local I’d pay that any day

Since you are only 14, I'm curious as to how you get all your lawn equipment from lawn to lawn....sounds like a great video to make as well Oliver. Keep doing what you do.

Awesome setup you got! Have you thought of trying twine to tie the bundle? A natural fiber twine will reduce plastic waste and could also be thrown in the fire by the customer so there is no waste! I have also seen people use the twine to tie a handle on the bundle for easy carrying. Keep up the great work, subscribed for more!!

I would just throw the plastic into the fire.

idk what the firewood situation is in the US, but where I live we pay around 150$ for a cord of unprocessed wood, you just gotta buck and split it, and comparing that to the infamous 25$ stand it does look a lil crazy, but at the end of the day they are paying for your labour too so I support you

Of course the DOT complains about a firework stand and not something that’s a real issue

I am happy to see a young man wanting to work this hard . If you can make the splits smaller . It will really help you out in the long run . But splitting by hand is not an easy task .
