that Cromwell would not have any trouble taking out a Tiger with a 17 inch gun ( considering that ships like H.M.S.Warspite only had 15 inch guns ) , but l think you will find that most of these tanks had a 17 pounder ( 77mm) as a standard fit. the old girl has certainly suffered over the years . greeting from a very hot Australia
Great video! Thanks for sharing! One tip to share, try to get your distant shots done first, before you put too many footprints down closer to the subject.
Thanks for watching, it wasn't actually 17" is was slightly smaller bu the rounded it up. I did some research but only as far as the Comet tank, and in honesty I have no idea if 17" is big or small, but judging by the comments it's quite large. Cheers 👍👍
When you say a 17 inch gun it refers to the Diameter of the Bore of the Gun. For example the HMS Hood had 15 inch guns and other smaller guns. The Japanese battleship Yamato had 18.1 inch guns@@MyPhotoJourney
Nice video. It is a treasure you still have and I'm sure any children find it a great place to climb around!
Thanks for watching, yeah it must be a good thing for the children to see 👍👍

Thanks a lot for the info, and I hope I know a lot more about lens sizes than cannons!
And know the Difference between a Canon and a Cannon.@@MyPhotoJourney
