The joy of tree service wood. Nice that it just comes to you and you don't have to run up and down the roads makes it worth it. I give my suppliers some file handles or a wood bowl I turn in the wood lathe as they never want paid.
That's actually a really cool idea, I like the bowls or file handles, last Christmas I gave the owner an envelope and told him to take the guys out on me. I've always believed you take care of them and they'll take care of you.
That’s white oak not shagbark hickory. There’s nothing wrong with processing with the County Line splitter, make do with what you have. The only bad thing about it is it will wear out way faster than a commercial (Eastonmade/Wolferidge) splitter. These box store /home owner splitters are designed/engineered to produce 10-20 full cord per year.
It was definitely splitting like white oak, when it first came in I would sworn it was hickory but nope, I actually developed auto cycle lol. I believe I broke a spring or something broke inside that control valve.
How do you get a UA-cam channel ?? Answer; be overweight, dark glasses are a must, a goats beard and a Southern “ Ya All” drawl, log splitter and timber rounds are optional !! 😜😎😀

Interesting, I like hearing other people opinions. With this statement, you made, should I shut down the channel or keep it going?
