Surprisingly it doesn't take long for it to dry where I hate it stored at. Yes it does take longer but not by much. I believe their going to able to take semi seasoned. The other test were going to have to do is wether they want bark free or not. Don't have all the answers yet but we should in the next month or so
YAY on the tree service wood! Earning a great firewood client has got to feel so good. Scored one myself in my woodyard landlord. He's all about family recreation on the weekends!
Congratulations on your customer. Being their sole supplier is a great thing. Hopefully your tree service will keep you stocked with hickory and cherry so you can fulfill their orders.
Andy so happy you got the supplier position for the restaurant. I may have missed this in your video, but how much does the restaurant use and do they want it dry or partially seasoned? Great to see this happening for you. Later my friend.
The restaurant will go through about a tote a month. They don't know yet on moisture content we're in the testing stages now. But I've been contact with other channels about their smoker and I believe semi seasoned will do them well
Love it when they can take it green. Are you going to build a kiln if they want 15-20% moisture? Hickory takes a long time to season.
