I’ve literally watched these packing videos hundreds of times as I’ve gone to sleep over the last few years. They are so relaxing and comfortable to listen to. You have such a beautiful voice and tone.
So so kind. Omg what a compliment. Watch away. Thank you. I also have more recordings of other things like positive affirmations that you can find here www.prolificliving.com/affirmations
Hello guys, I'm really happy to found your video for a packing list a carry on bag. And I will buy this one because allways I carry to many stuff in back bags and suitcases uffffff no more. After a 5 week trip around Peru and Bolivia I only will like to go like you doing it. Thanks a lot and hope to see more of you. A big hug from Germany and maybe we see each other someday in this beautiful word ;-) Who knows:-) Take care a lot.
Thank you for showing the unpacking of the Minaal backpack i just purchased a Minaal great product. I'm also using your husband packing strategy very helpful. Thank you!
@Farnoosh, thank you for your videos! I use a Pacsafe Metrosafe LS250 12 Liter Anti Theft Shoulder Bag (~$89) for my personal bag. It isn't nearly as trendy/stylish of a bag as your husband's, but I really like the anti-theft features and the space. The dimensions aren't quite right on the width for all low-cost carries, but I've had no issues with it since the height and thickness are well under their requirements. I also use it as my camera bag while traveling and even while not traveling. I am on my second one after finally replacing my first one after 6 or 7 years of frequent use. I know someone was complaining about the prices of your bags, but sometimes it is better to invest once in a well-made bag or travel items than to have to continually replacing them or having them come apart mid-trip. My wife and I use Eagle Creek Expanse International Carry-on and the Eagle Creek Expanse AWD International Carry-on Luggages. We live in southern Spain presently and we have had no problem with the bags working on any of the low-cost carries here in Europe. I have the 2-wheeler which has a little more space than my wife's 4-wheeler bag which means I sometimes carry a few of her items in my bag (what we do to keep harmonious bliss... ;>) ). We've taken several trips with them now and are very happy with our purchases. They are in the upper/mid price range for carry-on roller bags, but the quality and ease of use are worth it to us. I look forward to seeing your continued progression in packing light. Have a wonderful adventures wherever you and your husband go!
I'm amazed how much can be packed! It seems like the luggage doesn't have wheels. Does your husband find that it is heavy to carry? Loved your other packing videos too!
+Lisa Ryan Hi Lisa, he could put SO MUCH more in there. I"m always fussing at him because he leaves so much room, but it's a very nice carryon with great support for the lower and upper back and nice cushions so he's never felt it was heavy to carry. :) I hope this helps. Please spread the packing love!
Is that Patagonia rain jacket in a pouch from Patagonia as well? I've been to their website, and cannot find anything like it. Please advise, and if there's a model name for that jacket, please provide. Thank you.
YES, that is it and it is called a Houdini Jacket and it really is a freaking magical jacket. It's thin as nylon but keeps you warm and dry. I hope this helps. Good luck!
I own the Tezzeron from Patagonia and LOVE it. The external material is almost “buttery”. Not the right term but it’s the kind of material you like to touch. The internal material is soft without being fluffy, bulky or hot which makes it really nice to wear when you have a short sleeve shirt on something I don’t find in many rain/wind layers. Just thought I’d mention it. :)
+Sarah Tinsay Darling, I don't have kids. I would not be the right person to do that, I wish I could, but you can apply the same lessons of bring only what you need and why do you need that and just give them boundaries - only one small backpack and let them handle the rest. I hope this helps.
I don't travel much during the summer. I would say Winter is actually easier than Fall or Spring, because you can bring larger jacket and it's easier to re-wear things in the cold weather. Fall/Spring is tricky because you do have to carry for a variety of weather. I recommend a light-medium jacket, that is water resistant or proof, and layering with cardigans or sweaters. You want to wear your heaviest sweater on the plane/train. You can also bring tights, because they can convert warmer weather dresses to be suitable for colder temps.
Hi Jose, the size he has is no longer made anymore as they changed size, but it's closest to Medium. It won't fit a 13" laptop but it will fit an iPad. I hope this helps.
Don’t be. Sure it’s a shoulder bag or a satchel or some may even call it a cross-body bag but many people, guys included at least jokingly call bags like this by the nickname “man bag” and a “man purse” gets the idea across if not the precise nickname. I think the term may have originated on a Seinfeld episode but I can’t swear to that. :) In fact “man bag” is a very well known, heavily used nickname so man purse might annoy some but like I said it’s very close to what many call it and I’ve heard it call a man purse before as well. Oh and my girlfriend has jokingly reminded me not to, “forget my purse” on a number of occasions. ;) Great to see a lightweight packing video for men... they are rare.
Hok - Michael Hawkins Hey There - i have that bag and was concerned about pickpockets in Europe so I added a belt. I stitched two loops on the back close to each side. Then I feed the belt through the loops and around to the front. The belt has a traditional buckle which makes it difficult to open unnoticed. I’ve used it on 5 trips to Europe each of which was 6 weeks in duration and no lost or stolen items so I believe it works to thwart those pesky pickpockets lol. Safe travels my friend
Hi, wich model of patagonia rain jacket is that one at 2:15? I already got a columbia packable one, but idk if its the perspective or what, but that one looks really tiny and more portable.
+Guillermo Tabar That is a Patagonia jacket and it was $100 so I argued with him about buying it but apparently it is fabulous and it is also a wind breaker and makes you feel really warm even though it's very very light. I hope this helps. My husband LOVES it! I hope this helps.
+Farnoosh Brook Thanks, I notice in the video that you said it was Patagonia brand, I was wondering about the model since it looks so "tiny/portable". And I feel you both, i got myself a Columbia PFG HYDROTECH and cost me over 100 (with tax and shipping) but after some use, so far totally worth it. it pack itself into a little pouch and looks like a toiletry back hehe.
Hey Farnoosh! You can't beat carry-on only travel! We always dig seeing what's getting carried. Thanks for the rundown. Any questions about the Minaal Carry-on or the new bags now on Kickstarter? Hit us up at feedback[at]minaal[dot]com or head here: go.minaal.com

Fabulous like always! Thank you.

Farnoosh brock your my youtuber idol i have a favor can you do a video for packing light for kids
+Sarah Tinsay Darling, I don't have kids. I would not be the right person to do that, I wish I could, but you can apply the same lessons of bring only what you need and why do you need that and just give them boundaries - only one small backpack and let them handle the rest. I hope this helps.
How do you pack for Fall/Winter travel for the same amount of time?
I don't travel much during the summer. I would say Winter is actually easier than Fall or Spring, because you can bring larger jacket and it's easier to re-wear things in the cold weather. what size is the waterfield bag? small or the medium? thanks
Hi Jose, the size he has is no longer made anymore as they changed size, but it's closest to Medium. It won't fit a 13" laptop but it will fit an iPad. I hope this helps.
Its not a "man purse" , its just a shoulder bag.
Ok sorry :)

@@Christopher-today I so appreciate that explanation! It's always a debate with my husband and he's proud to carry his man purse or satchel ;)!
@@Christopher-today "Murse" = Man Purse/Bag
The man bag seems easy to pick pocket on the open side?
Hok - Michael Hawkins Hey There - i have that bag and was concerned about pickpockets in Europe so I added a belt. I stitched two loops on the back close to each side. I wouldn’t be comfortable with my wife going through my stuff on utube!
Ha ha! My husband didn't mind. :)
There is no way all that and the bag weighs 8Kg
