Well I got the scoot to top out at 85 mph but unfortunately, I was cut off at an intersection by a kid texting and driving. So now its junk. I just got the insurance money and have a new Scoot on the way thats the same 200cc engine but it is EFI!! I bought back the scoot from the junkyard for 100 bucks so I wont have to pay for another CVT kit and other upgrades. I may do a video series on each upgrade since there is hardly any info on this new 168.9cc GY6.

I had same issue right of the crate. I tore down the odometer and greased everything it was dry as a bone! put it all back together and it works fine. After 50 miles the headlight regulator burned out. I bought one from scooter dynasty while I waited for the warranty people to go over my request for a new one. The only issue I am having now is that my tach jumps around like crazy and I am wondering if you had/have the same issue?

No, but I had to weld the muffler mount that cracked. That video will come with my 1000 mile review. I was all set to praise this scooter after 1000 miles, and then the muffler mount... It's all welded and back together, so far no issues. Yes, many things are dry. The component shafts inside the variator and kick start mechanism are also dry, better tear it open and grease. :)))

@@bikesandoutdoors3616 I am actually in the middle of doing a bunch of different upgrades one thing I am noticing is that this bike has some weird electrical issues. I need to tear it down some more. I see it has a 7 pin voltage regulator so I am thinking it actually has an 11 pole stator which is a plus but if they used normal scoot electrical parts then there are going to be some issues. I am at 400 miles currently on my scoot.

interesting enough I tore it down some more today and what I didn't realize was that when the bike came 95% built that it was most likely the floor model. Some of the body parts
actually have touch up paint on it for tiny scratches and the plastic undercarriage has a huge crack/hole in it which I know I did not put there. Also figured out the electrical problem was the battery was not fully charged. When I got the bike the battery was pre-installed so I like a dummy figured it was charged before they put it in. So when I put any extra drain on the battery ie turn signals horn etc the tach was jumping around. Fully charged the battery and that all went away. Tomorrow I put the PWK Carb on possibly look into getting rid of the ECG (Emissions Control Garbage) see if that gives me better throttle performance. These are a 170cc scoot so they should perform better than the 125 I had.
