I think that she used to be a great antagonist, we should've seen more of her. Also "What's the use of feeling blue" is one of the best songs in the entire series.

Just in case anyone wants to know what CLOD means, it’s a clump of dirt. Peridot called a ALL POWERFUL ALIEN a CLUMP OF DIRT.
I love the way you translated her hair! It works supeisingly well considering how weird it looked in the actual show!

God, I love Yellow so much. She's is very logical, and perfectly rational. However, that's kinda the heel of the whole situation. We've all seen the quietest, calmest people suddenly lash out in anger because of stress and that's what we're seeing with Yellow throughout the series. The fact that Peridot thought she could actually call yellow diamond directly and try and reason with her in the first place means a lot. And the fact that Yellow is so fed up and done with Earth that she's being uncharacteristically cruel and unreasonable says a lot

Fun fact, Yellow diamond's "hair" has actually been said to be a helmet. It was supposed to be a metaphor for how she closes herself off, and there was going to be a scene where you get to see her take the helmet off, but the show wS cut short and they had other things they wanted or needed to focus on more and it just never ended up happening. So we don't actually know what her real hair looks like
Personally, Yellow Diamond is my favourite character. She's really seen as a perfect being when she still has her flaws which is what I love about her. She's hot headed, feels horrible in the eyes of white diamond and she relies on blue diamond while blue relies on her.
She also shattered millions of gems.... but she's still perfect right?

The agates. That's why the diamonds are seen as perfect. Yellow D even says it herself that they are made to terrify, plus they(D's) tend to turn unruly gems into furniture.

Ronaldo is my favorite Steven Universe character. I was obsessed with the ghost movies episode when I was younger, and I remember really being fond of his personality. I know the gems are stars of the show, but he’s such a fun character, I’d love to see him!

I was today years old when I realized that yellow diamond represents the body, white diamond represents the mind, and its a combination of blue and pink diamond that represent the heart

I relate to her a little since I seem calm and collected, but I'm a very emotionally volatile person on the inside. Plus, she talks about how it's easier to just not feel, and I have tried to suppress all of my emotions at one point. Still do, but I'm working on it.

Fun fact, Rebecca Sugar once said when asked about Yellow Diamonds hair, said that shes always prepared for a fight, so she never takes off her helmet, because it was a big confusion whether it was hair or a helmet. So she stepped in. Love the art btw your really talented /pos ❤

I have a favorite episode in season 4(I think). It’s where peridot ran off the Emergency Diamond call thing from the moon base. Once the gems got Yellow on and got really mad and said things.

I think there’s actually a term for this, when a character is presented one way and described via words by someone, but then narratively shown to be the exact opposite.
I think I saw it with that one arcane show, the short, supposed to be immortal guy does this exact thing.

Blue diamonds one of my favourites but I think you should attempted pinks broken pearl in the white shade would be a challenge.

Makes sense that Peridot thought that way- the Diamonds were Dictators who had ultimate power and were praised as Gods. Great antagonists, if a lackluster ending
