Another great tutorial! I just started painting my orks using your skin recipe with great results!
Would love to see more ork related content, ex. painting squigs.
I’m really glad your getting some use from my videos 😆 I don’t think I’ll ever stop making Ork content to be honest. Kids to get done.
I may have a box of squigs sitting on my shelf 😜 who knows
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam I'm so glad you're an ork lover and I'm happy to read this! I just started collecting again and I'm amassing all of the materials needed from your tutorials. I'm SO looking forward to getting my army painted and looking stellar like yours! Cheers!
Amazing job! This is exactly what I need for me own nobz. thank you
I’m glad I’ve been able to help 😁
Another great tutorial!
Thank you very much 😄
Another fantastic video! How are you finding the STC brushes compared to citadels regular range?
Thank you. Honestly there is no real difference 🤷🏼♂️ the drybrush is better, just because the bristles don’t keep falling out when your using it haha
Goff but also does anyone know any good somewhat recent death company tutorials
Haha there will goff content in the future. I promise 🙃
Amazing tutorial! By any chance, could you do a Black Ork armour for the Ironjawz???
Thank you. Ironjawz are my next tutorial funnily enough, but it’s gonna be the yellow scheme you see on the boxes. I’ll be doing goff videos in the future will may be able to help though 👍🏻
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam No problem, im happy with that, keep it up dude :)
Ah, the eternal Ork debate. Paint da arm'er red to make da orkz go fasta, or paint da arm'er yellow to make da orkz killier, what iz a nob ta doo?
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam Neva thot aboute dat. We'z need a kola' for smertnes
I reckon these painting tutorials would have to be among the best on youtube. The presentation, editing & content is very professional and engaging. Bonus points for lots of Ork content. 💚
Thank you very. Always appreciate the comment
Fantastic as always, will you make a tutorial for beast snagga armies and squigs as well?
Thank you. I’d be silly not to make snagga tutorials to be honest. As soon as I have some I’ll be doing videos on them 😃
Are You sure that you dont work as an eavy metal painter for GW?
That’s some high praise indeed. I’m not that good. I am a huge fan boy of theirs though and I have tailored my style to match theirs. I just find ways of doing it quicker and easier to get similar results ☺️
Amazing tutorial! I love how you don’t drag out you painting things. Simple, beautiful and to the point! Just what we need! Keep up the brilliant videos!!
☺️ thank you.
loved the video i would love to see a how to paint on goffs ork clan
I’m glad you liked the video. I’m sure they’ll be a goff video soon enough
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam that will be awesome i'll keep my eye out for it
I've just started a set of Meganobz in Deathskullz colours. Blue armour with bronze, silver and white. Your last Meganobz and deathskullz vids inspired me.
Ooooo awsome 😃 I would love to see them when they’re done
yo michael, love your painting vids, huge fan of your deathskulls color scheme, think you could paint a deathskull meganob?
Thank you very much :D I'm really glad your enjoying my videos. I have had some requests for a death skulls mega nob already, I'm not sure when I'll get around to it though as I've got a few videos I want to do before that.
I like the yellow/orange for the edge highlights, makes it look like it's been worn away. What would you suggest for edge highlighting red if you wanted a really clean freshly painted look?
Cheers. I would probably start Mephiston. Nuln oil recess. Troll slayer highlight and then luggerath orange which is kind of peachy in colour for spot highlights.
Amazing. Thx, i am ready for the 9th édition for orks ;)
Glad to hear it 😃 still more to make though 👍🏻
Great job as always please continue sharing orks! When a tutorial for killa kans?
I dunno haha 😂 bro have a dredd I need to paint so maybe in the far future 😉
This is the one I've been waiting for. Looks awesome. Also, the new Orruk Flesh might be a good base for your Ork skin. Looking forward to seeing how it compares to the Death Guard/Flash Gitz mix.
I’m also interested in how it compares. Be nice to not have to make a mix all the time haha gotta get ready for snaggas
Hey, Is there some other colour I can use instead of flesh tearer red? Is blood angels red a good alternative?
Yeah, blood angels contrast should be fine. Just realise that it may not be as dark. If you got a spare part, experiment 😃 see what you like. I never intend these videos to be how you should exactly do things, try things you like 👍🏻
Love ur paint style. It's similar to eavy metal just with more metal 👍
Thank you very much ☺️ I am a massive fan of the eavy metal style but just kind of done my way to make it quicker haha
Fantastic content and the video very pleasant to watch 👍 Moore orks 👍
Thank you. I’m really glad you enjoyed it
Awesome tutorial, even if i dont play orks :D
Thank you very much. I really appreciate that
using this for my meganobz today
ooo nice. good luck. I still love both my meganobz armour tutorials.
Sorry Michael, my first comment has vanished! You’ve done it again with another detailed yet succinct tutorial inspiring me once more! Despite going for Goffs myself I’m still going to use your recipes for panelling etc! Keep up the fantastic work!
No bother. UA-cam’s probably just holding it for me to look at. It does that sometimes 🤷🏼♂️
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I still have 1 more in the box, so thinking of painting it up goff. Maybe do it with the tellyport blasta to make it more interesting
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam did you end up painting the 3rd one?
the videos you make must be heaps time consuming, im guessing that you would do the goth style like you do with your vehicle video.
meganobz are my next to paint, thinking to try do it your style like the goth trukk. few paints i have to buy.
why ushanti bone , I don't get that... it's an eye sore
Feel free to use what ever colour you get prefer 👌🏻
Very nice video once again. I really like the clarity and delivery of your tutorials. I’ve come back to the hobby (and military modelling) after 25 years away, so I have a lot to learn and relearn, but even where my fogey’ish instincts rebel against some things, your explanations of what you are doing, why you are doing it and why it might not be for everyone e.g, the yellow highlights, does set you apart from most channels. I think your channel is fantastic.
Thank you. I really appreciate the feedback and I’m really happy you get so much from the videos. I just try to make a video that I could understand myself if I was watching it.
Production quality is first class! I found the tutorial to be expert, engaging and enjoyable to watch! Wonderful stuff Michael, your channel is one of the best painting content on UA-cam 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you very much. I’ll do my best to keep making videos 😃
Great tutorial bud just a question may dum to ask but how do you stick the miniatures to the shot glass?
I tend to use the cheap jenga blocks now, rather than the shot glass. I'll only use the shot glass for miniatures that have a base attached these days. I'll use blu tac to stick the base to the shot glass and if your using a block then I'll stick the miniature directly to it with super glue, you can see how I do this in my assembling miniatures video. hope that helps
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam great thanks for getting back to me
Another fantastic tutorial! The extra details at the end really made this scheme stand out from the rest!
Thank you. I think I’ll probably start putting more detailed things at the end of tutorials. I enjoyed adding those extra touches
I wanted to paint my own ork clan with orange and purple with blacks as their clan colours. Do you have any tutorials with these colours?
Unfortunately I don’t. I know that midwinter minis Orks are purple and orange though, maybe he could provide so inspiration for yah 😁 just know that all the skills and techniques i show you are used to paint everything. It’s just a matter of choosing colours.
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam Oh I’m following you tutorials for my first attempts! I have pretty much all the colours you’ve suggested. Just thinking of trying purple and orange as a ork clan. But I gotta start off slow I know haha
that's the right attitude to have :D if you did want orange to be your main colour, I would kind of treat it like painting yellow as its probably just as difficult to get right. have a main colour and a secondary colour rather than having an equal amount because you'll find they can clash. I'm not sure if you have seen my Ork clans tutorial but at the end I show you how to do a simple camo pattern, I think a purple camo would look awesome, just replace the blue with a purple. Orks aren't meant to be able to see purple so makes sense they would use it in a camo pattern.
@@TableTopReadyUA-cam Oh I’ve seen it! And yeah actually purple camp would be sick!
You have a knack for conveying a high density of information with incredible levity, and I really like your clean and concise video production. Amazing work, thanks a lot! (And I'm not even playing or painting Orks, being a knife-ear player.)
Thank you so much for the kind words. I work hard to make sure anyone can use these tutorials and actually use them to get better. I’m gonna keep trying to get and improve to make better lessons in the future 😃 I’m excited
I really like you're videos. So clear and with such cool schemes! This actually inspired me to go back and add a little chipping to the armor of my Space Wolves with Rhinox Hide, it's so simple and small yet added a lot to the mega armor
Thank you 😊 I’m glad your enjoying them. It’s cool that get your getting some use out of them even for your space wolves 😀
Another great video - cheers for this! I love the use of contrast paint as a glaze, really makes the colour pop!
Thank you. Yeah it really helps reds and make em look how you think they should look
Just got a box of these guys recently. Thanks for the tips.
Your very welcome. This is one of my favourite Ork kits
Great videos. I appreciate the lighting set up the most.
Thank you very much, trying to make the best tutorials I can for people
