    I love this - the cacophony of the crossing and then the peacefulness of the ride afterwards and the arrival at the quaint hotel room… perfect!

    This is so inspiring and to be real honest I might be step from doing what your doing by the end of the month because just like you, traveling to different countries gives me so much joy, I was born and raised in the USA and I've always felt that I was not designed to live the corporate American Lifestyle, I've always felt that I was designed to live Free and be Happy. It's kind of hard to do that in the USA because it's a corporate system. When I was in Mexico I felt such a complete inner freedom that I have never felt before and I told myself, "this is something that I want to have inside me forever" So now I actually plan on going to Guatemala by the end of the month because I want to experience that good ol nature living lifestyle.

      Yay!! I’m so happy for you! I totally agree. The level of freedom I feel in these countries is wonderful and the abundance of natural allows for it, something is is harder to find in the states. I love reading your words, I’m so happy for you and good for you for following that inner sense!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

    13:50. I agree on that motorcycle feeling. The only way I describe it is being a kid the night before your birthday when you have a great party coming. And presents of course

    Phew, whatta day! You managed it like a champ! I bet the outlook you mentioned that "everything will go well today" helps a lot, i gotta remind myself more. I usually tell myself the opposite, lying to myself that I am a realist and at least i will be pleasantly surprised, but that probably isn't the right way to do it. How is it filming border crossing like this? Do you ask people/officers for permission to film? Or in the last Mexico episode with the "donkey festival", do you ask there people if you can include them on video? Or do you just have it strapped and rolling? Just curious, no idea how that works. I actually just purchased some cameras and will try to play with them. Also, been meaning to ask you, you probably get this one a lot, sorry, why did you choose this motorcycle, I mean this BMW? Do you still like it more than any other bike you can imagine? I apologize, I don't mean to judge, not in your shoes, but to me it seems (too) big??? Although many people travel on the even bigger BMWs. Maybe with your frequent camping the smaller bikes would not carry all you need? I don't really know anything about it, while i have owned and ridden bikes for last almost 20 years, never really long multiday distance where i would need to pack camping stuff on it. Thanks for your content!

      Since I've been making a conscious effort to make that intention, I've been blown away, it's usually in the small details and I can really feel it. I don't always remember to do it but getting on the motorcycle and doing things like crossing borders reminds me. I usually just ask (in my head) "for help and the best outcome possible, for the good of all."
      Yes! I usually ask people if it bothers them if I film and if it's ok. Yes, the donkey film video, I was staying at their hostal and I asked them if they wanted to be a part of the vlog. I try not to point the camera at people when we begin to talk, and point the camera at myself at the beginning and then at some point I'll ask if it bothers them and then film freely.
      The way I came to this bike was pretty accidental! It's the first and only bike I've ever owned. When I bought it I lived in NYC and only knew that I had a pipe dream to ride in different countries. I never knew I'd do it so soon. All I knew is that people use "adv" bikes for other countries and that was the type of riding I dreamed of but honestly I couldn't even tell left from right in terms of motorcycles back then, I couldn't even distinguish between an adv bike or a classic bike, I knew nothing! Thankfully, I had an old boss who helped me IMMENSELY through the process of buying a used bike. I liked this bike bc I thought it was pretty! And knew that it was in this "category" that people used around the world but I knew nothing. Then I had a very intuitive "spark," or I don't know what to call it, that told me to go to Mexico with my bike. I also didn't know then that I'd cross any other borders. So well, long winded (sorry!) way of saying I really didn't choose the bike specifically for this journey. It just happened that way and I was working with what I have. That being said, the bike has been immaculate. I love it. My only troubles are with the weight. Yes you're right, I would agree! For someone my size, as a solo traveler, I do think a smaller bike may be more well suited. Having a little power when I need to do long days and the comfort of the bigger bike is nice and the fact that I kinda live off of it makes the size nice. But I so agree, I think overall for what I'm doing exactly, for my size, it's a bit big! (more importantly heavy!)
      Please feel free to ask any questions, it really is such a pleasure to receive them and get to share. And especially, if I can be helpful in any way, it is a true true pleasure. So I welcome them. Thank you for asking!!!
      Sorry I was so long winded! 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

    WOW, amazing! Got a question. I have a Harley Davidson touring bike. Do u think my bike will hold up on there roads. Or get a off road bike like your self. Thank you.

    • @MindBodyMotoGirl
      @MindBodyMotoGirl  8 місяців тому

      It's certainly possible! You may be more limited, depending on where you want to go, but if you stick to the main roads you should be fine. If you wanted to go really deep exploring you'll hit gnarly dirt roads and then of course it would be very challenging with that bike but if you are fine with sticking to the main roads you can do it. It really all depends on where you want to go and what you want to do. Happy to provide any info that could be helpful

    In your experience, is there any relationship between your passport and the country of the motorcycle? I'm a Chilean national, with an American motorcycle.. And I wonder if doing what you do with my bike would be more problematic.

    • @MindBodyMotoGirl
      @MindBodyMotoGirl  Рік тому +1

      As long as all your documents match, ie name on passport and name on registration of motorcycle, it shouldn't matter, as far as I know. Or if you have a Power of Attorney to ride the motorcycle if the moto is registered in someone else's name. For example, I have friends who are from New Zealand and ride on American plated bikes they bought and registered in their names. I also have an Irish friend who travels on an American motorcycle registered in someone else's name and uses a Power of Attorney to cross borders. Hope that helps!
