  • This video takes a look at the new semi-modular synthesizer by Blue Lantern Modules, the Ergot Organic Synthesizer. This is a full synthesizer based on a plethora of Blue Lantern Modules all intermingled in one standalone synth. Just add v/oct for pitch and a gate/trigger for the envelope and you are good to go.
If you wanted to build this in eurorack, you would need the following modules:
    x2 Lunar Modulation Lab
    Subharmonics Generator
    CSVCO Noise Oscillator
x2 APE Accented Percussion Envelope Generator
    Parallax/Blades Filter
    x2 Mini Digital LFO
    Dwarf Star Stereo Delay
You can jump to any section of the video using the timecodes here:
    00:00 - Opening
    01:24 - Overview
    04:30 - 5 Minute Rundown
    10:05 - Full Walkthrough & Demo
    38:35 - Some Music
Special thanks to Blue Lantern Modules for providing the EOS for this video.

When you use the lock feature on the vco's, you can adjust the Frequency to what ever you want. There are trimmers below the red button. I adjust them to C, and vco #2 to C 1 octave up.

New sub here, thx for supporting Nan with regards to that guy who decided to sexualize her.
So what if she's making modular sexy, who cares, it's her choice and that's all that matters.
Fwiw, that poster is on his 25th account in 3 years, he keeps deleting or getting his account closed down for the things he keeps doing, which you have seen 1st hand.

There should only be one question asked in regards to modular and synthesizers: "Are they having fun?" That guy clearly is not... And the fact that all he saw her for was her chest says a lot about himself. What a creep!
Thanks for the sub too, hopefully I can be of service!

@@RobotsAreRed I love modular, not because it's different, but because you need to work your butt off at getting good results.
I remember playing around with my old cabinet stereo in the late 70s.
Massive speakers, just on the AM band and dialing in through the white noise with a heavy weighted knob.
I was using the sliders to change the bass and treble to hear the different combinations of sounds I could make.
What's funny is I never imagined that this is what synthesis was like, just that I was doing something extremely rudimentary at the time.
Now modular, for me it's a no go, OCD with all those wires? FOR GET IT lol.
But I do have some nice gear, Pro 3, Pro 2, some other stuff, I like modulation routing without the wires, but I have been fortunate to lay my hands on a System 55, 3 sequencers, my mind was blown.
I love Dream of wires, I love the rabbit hole, so I am more than happy to be an observer when it comes to this extreme exploration.
Fwiw, creep is a great way to describe him, he devalues another by doing what he has done.
I contacted her, she just loled @ him :D

@@dankeplace I'm very OCD with my modular as well. All my different lengthed cables are separate colors. Not all patches are that crazy. With the right module choices you can kind of build your own easy little system only using two or three patch cables if you even wanted.

@@RobotsAreRed fwiw I read your comments re the meltdown.
He does this all the time, tries to get sympathy from his subs but it appears to be failing this time, he is on his 25th YT account in a little over 3 years.
What you're seeing is coming from a real place BUT he disguises it with humor.
He deletes comments and videos as it's evidence for others to experience as you have seen 1st hand.
He will be back, he just does this every 2 or 3 months.

@@dankeplace Yeah its just very strange. A lot of "you all suck.... hey why are you leaving". Really bizarre and I'm kind of worried about him, for his safety and more importantly others'.
