So many happy memories of the beautiful Ellan Vannin from my first visit at the age of 12 in 1967. Used to love the older ferries... Manxman, King Orry, Manx Maid, Ben-My-Chree... classics 😘 Midnight sailings to Douglas from Liverpool and return on midnight ferry back to Liverpool... now that's what I miss...used to make the trip about 6 times each year, plus long weekend at Easter and a week or 2 in September. My Spiritual Home... Heaven on Earth to me no matter what time of year (yes, I've been to the beautiful Island in December and February not just the summer months) Hello to my dear friend Jill and partner, Dave, plus all my 4-leggged friends at Bulrhenny 💖👩❤️👩🐎🇮🇲🐴💞 Philomena and Bella 💖😻🐾💞

I can still remember my first trip to the Island in 1964 on the 'Midnight Boat'.As a 12 year old the day excursion fare was 11 shillings...55p return!
I prefer the sea cat to the older boats. And its worth upgrading to the premium lounge as well.
The seacat was better i thought, the only better thing on the manannan is the speed and convenience
