Not at all, length still had enough slack where it didn't affect control. For the brake line all I did was unbolt the fastener under the headlight. Not the prettiest thing but avoided having to buy lines. If you don't like the look I would definitely buy longer lines but stock work fine at 10".
Nah, man. All worked fine, if anything just unbolt the brake line under the headlight and you should be good with the slack. Won't look nice but gets the job done.
Corners just fine. I don't usually lean hard on this bike but it turns just as well as before. Normal everyday riding is a huge improvement from stock. Make sure you set it up to your stance though, otherwise it maybe uncomfortable
