I was a medic in Army at Bragg in 90s, learned the zipper thing.
I've been a civilian paramedic for 26 years, teach every medic student the zipper thing, it's a peeve of mine.
This guy is so awesome. After watching the Terminal List I have to read his books now.
The books are incredible. You won't be able to put em down.
The show was great, but his books are on a WHOLE nother level. Great stuff
I always enjoy listening to Jack. One of my favorites, as a speaker and author.
Even though the plot for The Terminal List is the usual "special forces guy is on the hunt for the people that killed his family" it's not the usual plot at the same time. Great job with the true to life military stuff and throws in some wild twists. It has to be watched twice for sure.
Watched?? Read the book, best ever!!
Seems like one of the nicest guys around. Thanks for the interview. Great information from a great guy.
Thanks to Jack I decided to get a Sig P 365X. Could not be happier.
He's a great dude to take advice from!
You DA MAN Jack! ⚓️
I’ve read all his books. Great author. Love the gear list in the books.
Jack Carr’s books surprised me with how good they are. Love Tom Clancy and he’s about on par with him. The military/espionage/thriller goat is still Frederick Forsyth (Day of the Jackal is my fav but everyone is exceptional)
Mike Glover FieldCraft Survival has TQ conceal holsters to wear on belt or ankle.
Thanks
The book series was unbelievable. So good, can't wait for the next installment!
New subscriber just from the intro and title 💪🏿
One thing I always had in my travel kit for wilds of Mexico etc. Suture kit and antibiotics for general, and food poisoning. Vibramycin, erythromycin
Patriot, Hero, Mentor, Husband and Father! Love Jack Carr! Great Show! Oh and Your NOT Bad Too! 😆 🤣 😂
Show is good, books will always be better. While it varies from the books a bit it’s still a very good show.
Totally agree!
“Pens…highlighter…bc I’m an author.” Weird flex
Wait everyone doesn't keep the zippers in the middle?
In my country putting the zippers in the middle is just asking to be robbed (in the streets).
I’m hesitant to keep the zippers in the middle. If the bag gets turned upside down, loose items can jam into the zippers and cause the bag to open in the field. I have had it happen personally and I’ve seen it happen to others while backpacking. Granted it doesn’t happen often, but I would rather be safe than sorry
@@joelafrance9579 That understandable. I was taught and by no mean am I an expert but depending on the zipper pull I loop them inside each other kind of locking them together and how the loop is you are still able to get finger and rip them apart in an emergency but it all personal preference to make it easier for you to find them In a low light situation.
@@baileymarcue9506 That actually makes a lot of sense, I might have to try that and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip man
Been doing this for years. Works great and you can adjust the security/access. Need easy access? Loop them twice. Need maximum security? Loop them three or four times. Kind of like daisy-chaining.
Fun fact you can fly with trauma shears in your carry on.
I didn't have to be D-force to learn to put the zippers in the middle, I just had to be OCD!
I wouldn't go far as to say Sig's binos "won't break the bank" for most people.
They arent expensive at all lmao
@@jamesstephenson2346 Do you know which model that is? Because the only single model of Sig binos that I see that look like that run for $750.
leave the intro out of your videos. it will help with views
I love podcasts and I really love Jack Carr. I own all the books. But gear heads just want the gear dump. All the other jabbering in the podcast is annoying. Get to it.
So judging by the 80db jump between the speaking and the intro music I am guessing you do not want anyone to watch your videos.
