The explanation of United States vs Miller is very inaccurate. 1. The defendants were Jack Miller and Frank Layton and were a part of the gang that operated in Oklahoma. 2. The District Court judge was in fact in favor of the NFA. However, knowing that Miller would have to go into hiding- as he had outed his fellow gang members to the feds- the judge ruled in favor of Miller to bring the case directly to the SCOTUS. 3. Miller had to go into hiding prior to the oral arguments and was murdered before the decision was released in May 1939.

The app sucks

Anyone surprised that a bullet fired from a firearm doesn't magically disassemble upon hitting the target shouldn't own a gun. Obviously frangible rounds may penetrate walls. It's a f**ing bullet. However it is nowhere in any magnitude close to hollow points or fmjs,. Man up and admit you people buying hollow points just want to kill someone. Straight up doesn't matter if you fire blanks. There were no Marines present during the D-Day landings. All Marines were deployed to the Pacific Theatre, and the majority of U.S. troops that landed on the beaches of Normandy were Army with a spattering of Navy Liason troops for artillery support.

I agree with Matt. I grew up before social media. The younger UA-camrs nowadays have no idea how much damage social media and over promotion from celebrity hunters have done. Hunting and fishing used to be financially free and stress free. I’ve lived in Montana and it’s sad - ton of posers and people who have no appreciation for the actual hunt or fishing trip. Financially driven outfitters and guides are getting out of hand too.

Quick correction regarding the history of “Red Dot Sights” or collimator sights, they predate the WWII Norton bomb sight to WWI where they were used on howitzers to align field artillery with aiming stakes. The US military used them on small arms in 1970 during the Son Tay Raid. They bought UK made Normark Singlepoint optics for the Colt GAU-5 carbines. Aimpoint made the first ones you could actually see through the tube in 1974, the Aimpoint Electronic.
