Honestly that was f****** hilarious when Donald Trump did that. Power for Joe Biden with sticks to my house whenever I think about him is when he said to the news camera I pooped my pants or your not black
Today Nixon would be labeled a RINO.
Not many people like Biden. But there’s a lot of people who dislike Trump and his policies. So they vote for Biden since he’s the candidate with the best chance of winning against Trump.
You know atleast he had to wake up to make that speech. That's improvement.
I just wish my presidents gamed with each other 😢
Nixon! Too soon, man, too soon.
Just kiddin', most people today don't even know what Nixon was
I know he was in Futurama and a lot of people don't like him too much, but thats about it.
I know he was a crook
He was good but was an idiot for what he did, had so much potential 😢
Nixon is... problematic. He had some very interesting positions (though I don't agree with all of them) such as the EPA, detente and his economic policies, but all of that just just pales in comparison to the fact that he's responsible for the war on drugs, sabotaging Vietnam peace negotiations AND Watergate.
“Democrats want someone progress.” Shows Whitmer and Newsom and not Marianne Williamson 😆😆😆
Wapo not even pretending to be neutral anymore.
I'm still trying to figure out how Americans can support a politician who wants to take their constitutional rights away.
because it's not a right that some people care about and actively endangers people? like some people just don't care about that and believe the cost of taking it away is less then the benefits
that's the long and short of it we don't want it and believe it's dangerous to still have
that's the point of disagreement wether or not its a good idea to remove it like look at Australia they were pissed when people originally took away there guns then nowadays no more gun violence
does that make sense there's a disconnect at core values on what we see as important and what is a good idea
You can't convince me that taking away guns would increase violence and make us less safe because multiple first world countries have taken it away and have less mass shooting in the past 3 decades then we do in a year even when calculating for population difference
If you're referring to Biden, seeing as you said president and not president-hopeful (i.e, Donald), other than him initially urging Congress to approve a tentative agreement that saw railway workers denied paid sick leave, what rights are being stripped away?
@@Boss_Isaac 2nd amendment rights
@@wiseferret4745
The 2nd Amendment isn't absolute, though? We actually had a ban on assault weapons enacted thru fed legislation some decades ago that iirc expired in 2005.
@@Boss_Isaac the 2nd amendment is absolute. That's why it's worded as an umbrella law and includes "shall not be infringed." There should be absolutely 0 federal regulations on any firearm aside from FOID and CCL. Banning stocks, grips, magazines, and most of all gun models (like banning the AR-15) is unconstitutional and is pure tyranny. You're one of those people who sees a sign that says 'no swimming - crocodile infested waters - you will die' and says "oh it's just a suggestion I won't get eaten by crocodiles," and then you get eaten by crocodiles. First they will disarm us, then they will control us, and we will have destroyed the foundation this great country 🇺🇲 was built on. We are a constitutional republic with democratic values, not a democracy. The constitution is 100% the law of the land and anyone who successfully defies that is a tyrant who should be deposed.
Wait people actually want the Supreme Court expanded and don’t realize how dumb that idea is?
As far as I understand it, that's solely to pack a couple of moderate judges in there to counter the far-right ones. The supreme court is only apolitical in theory, in practice it's a group of unelected anti-democratic lawmakers and whichever party gets to stack it retains effective control regardless of what voters have to say. Since trump's picks are tilting the balance into ultraconservative territory, the far right is currently able to safely push through laws criminalizing abortions, censoring education systems, and potentially rigging the next election.
I think they mean size not power
@@dastinn9628 yeah exactly- it’s a terrible idea to add more justices
I'd like there to be 13 and they all have to each come from one of the circuits, and can't serve more than 6 years each before we send them back to the lower courts and get a new one.
But i'd also like to require them to be actual judges with experience, neither of which are required at the moment.
Adding more judges while retaining the same level of power means more passive, yet more unbiased court. Like continental Europe.
Holy cow man. Save some estrogen for the rest of us.

I wont hold my breath
@@ryansmith3990"Well regulated" is also in that amendment, the SCOTUS ruled a long time ago that the second amendment is subject to reasonable regulation.
Packing the court has been done 6 times in US history, it is controversial but not illegal or unprecedented. Just like how fillibustering a vote for SCOTUS appointments isn't illegal, just absurdly obstructionary. Packing the court is a temporary fix though. Biden should really help get the ball rolling on SCOTUS term limits and move out of the way when he's done.
