  • Music is EVERYWHERE!
This piece was composed to demonstrate that bottles, cans, pipes, and found items can be used to make compelling music. Big Ears asked Fulton High School’s percussion class to compose a piece for found items based on the music of Maestro Cyro Baptista, also a collaborator on this project. Fulton teacher David Miller, Cyro, Third Coast Percussion’s Sean Connors, and the kids made the percussion, project producer Matt Morelock wrote a simple melody, and teenage choreographer Julianna McMurray choreographed a piece for the IGNITE! Dance Ensemble.
