Slice up the pork chops and make a strir fry for a full meal.
I didn't even think of that - someone else mentioned it as well!
To make the pork stretch, you could cut them up small and make pork fried rice!
I didn't even think of that!!
Or even use them in place of chicken and cut them in strips for fajitas. Or as the previous person mentioned along with the fried rice you can make it as a stir fry with vegetables and the poor cut with thin strips marinated in some type of Asian sauce. @@SimpleWifeSimpleLife
Marinate the pork chops in teriyaki sauce and make some rice in your instant pot. Add eggs, onion, and frozen peas and carrots and soy sauce to turn those into pork fried rice. You’ll have enough for everyone!
That's what a few people have recommended! I might just do that!
Aloha sis.
Much love to you and your beautiful familia.💕🎚️
I did fairly well with the January challenge with just a couple hiccups. Rolling in to February we are on target fingers crossed it can hold up and no diversions off our track. My biggest challenge has been thinking about what to eat.😁 Could be burnout or like you I have immune issues with my RA and brain fog. Of course like you here in Illinois the weather has sucked! No sunshine! I do believe that affects you too. Much encouragement and blessings to you and yours. Thanks for sharing! Have a great day!!
Meal plan burnout is REAL though!
For the pork chops slice them thin and fry in the pot til cooked and add your favorite spaghetti sauce tastes great!
Thanks for the tip!
I love the idea of teaching the preteens how to care for their skin. My son is 11 and I'm clueless as to what he needs to do to care for his skin and hair as he approaches puberty.
It doesn't help that my 12yo doesn't care ABOUT caring for his skin, either haha
@@SimpleWifeSimpleLife haha we are having that same problem over here as well! 🤦😂
Not me over here adding things to my grocery list like ranch and jam as I watch this 😂thanks for the reminders
You are so welcome!
Nice grocery haul. We are on an elimination diet. I have a lot of auto immune issues and i was reading about how inflammatory foods affect auto immune issues. So, talked to my doctor and so our grocery bill is interesting right now as we experiment with finding out if the foods i think are healthy or not that bad for me are making things worse.
I've done some elimination in the past as well. It can definitely effect the grocery bill!
I'm not sure if you're familiar with the chef Michael Symon, but he has a fantastic book that he wrote about anti-inflammatory issues as he also suffers from that. He was able to learn what foods helped him by eliminating certain items.
@@marykoufalis7666 thanks for the recommendation. I didnt know. I will look around for it.
Its interesting what is in food or even basic foods that you think are fine that can and will mess with your body in odd ways.
@@gigglesandhugs5690 absolutely true. Foods that are seemingly healthy can wreak havoc on some people's stomach and body. I imagine it is not easy doing an elimination diet especially if you have other family members to cook for as well and you cannot necessarily tweak all the meals to your preference. I wish you best of luck and I do hope you figure out what foods are causing inflammation.
@@marykoufalis7666 thank you so much. yeah its interesting to see what my issues really are. the family took on the elimination diet as a whole just to see the outcome so that helps. after research into local chain grocery stores and what they allow to pass food quality wise as in meat and what they allow to happen from the farmers. meaning growth hormones and feed. so far its all going well. i did have a detox few weeks but overall feel much better with the things i have taken out being gone.
So glad your back on!! I missesd you all. Hope your health is getting better! ❤
Great haul. We’ve been loving the cosmic crisp apples. We love honey crisp too.
I've not tried the cosmic crisp!
Nice haul!
Thanks for the visit!
I may have to try those apples cause I love honey crisp ones! Thanks 🙂
You definitely should!

Walmart needs to hire you for a great value spokesperson ❤😂
You're not the first to say that! lol
Hi! Love these Walmart hauls. How do you clean with the hydrogen peroxide?
spray it around the sink/tub drains, cracks and crevices that are hard to reach that can harbor germs!
@@SimpleWifeSimpleLife thank you!!
