I absolutely love the reviews of the cheap RCs but do we have to have a segment about how you don’t run skateparks in every video? I think it might help your channel a lot to just disregard the negative commenters without addressing it every time.
Maybe when people stop leaving comments about why I’m not doing it. I even said in the video I don’t see why I keep getting those comments and constantly feel the need to explain.. I haven’t done a skatepark video for over 3 years! I take your comment of board of course 👍👍

The most frustrating RCs we've had were 2 different offerings that were branded as XLF. Parts were hard to come by and they both broke on a baseball diamond. Basically flat with just fine dirt, no jumps or anything. The worst part were the channels that touted them as punching way above their class and "WL Toys killers". You of course weren't one of those channels because you're honest. We appreciate that.

I think this sc version from XLF is looking good performance wise. Not really crazy about that drag brake either. Many of hosims trucks are the same way. After all XLF and Hosim do borrow heavily off from one another. I think this is trying to be two different trucks. One being the Mojave grom and the other, the cartoony looking SuChiYu q134 sct. This XLF is kinda “cartoony” as well. I like how they went a step beyond hbx, SuChiYu and Arrma and threw more selective metal bits in what seems to be the right places. If this were Rlaarlo’s , they would hear us complain about the drag brake and they would come back with a fix for it or a version 2 and correct the issue, but where this is XLF, I doubt they will make it better. I love theses small garage or driveway RCs my biggest concern is that they are tending to get to fast, weight, and clearance from ground. Now just my opinion, if you are an adult you should know that if you run on ruff ground, then yeah it's not going to be a smooth run. Weight and clearance, however they make excellent small area runners, if it's not to ruff, I mean come on, do we need 14th scale or even alot of 12th scale RCs running at 50+ or even 45+ MPH. Kids get to breaking them really quick. If you tell me about speed selectors, look 😂 Any kid will figure out how to get it to go faster especially if they see dad messing with the remote before handing it over . Also if you have to run in the road it needs to be able to be controllable to get out of the way of traffic, that's our responsibility as an RC driver, I don't know, it just seems that the bigger companies though I may like them they are just giving the consumers what they want and not really caring if it makes sense, I mean I'm sure there's people out there smarter than me but when have a group of people ever been smart enough to know what they really want? Most people say give me speed, power, durability. Though what they really want is a zippy, well built RC that holds together as much as possible, but handles good so they can control it within the platform range, different types RC handle different.
Why ? Can I get hubs for mjx ? Aluminum I broke last night in cold , car so awesome I was going to shelf it after 10 runs or so it’s that nice . Now I buy another run this one into ground the cars .
Your videos and mayve one or two others is how i keep Chinese RC tech and not just Chinese. Maverick quatum line and other lower cost options They have made improvements.
I could imagine that many manufacturers not meaning the gps measurement if they specify the topspeed. Most modern automobiles or motorcycles have a difference between 5-10 kmh (maybe a bit less mph) in what you see on the speedo and what the gps says. I watched that with Google Maps navigation. So maybe the speedo of a real car shows 40 miles, when you would follow the RC Buggy... Maybe this is the reason for the difference between gps measurement and what stands on the box?
I know skateparks is not a proper way to test durability on a rc car or truck... yet i respect your intentions. I had a hobby grade rc truck that was good on a brushed motor, yet when I converted it to brushless... the truck broke a lot more... so much that i tried a Redcat Caldera 10e monster truck, but it fried the esc so much... and my former hobbytown usa said it was an inferior product that on my birthday, I got a Traxxas Stampede 4x4 VXL. The moral is never take a truck's durability for granted...because it can cost you so much money.

Funny you ask because shortcourse RTR racing hit really big and was a big growth and change for RC . 2008 traxxas released , previous generation we only had kits starting with team associated and Losi . But mini shortcourse racing nah because to many great entry level vehicles that actually as cheap just these little guys are packing as much options for best value.
I never would buy these off brands but learned to appreciate how savy the guys were with 1444401 on other side of the pond and Watching beyond . Now I took the plunge riarrlo and mjx n pretty awesome little cars . My 6s Arrmas are the pinnacle of bashing but with minis my groms aren’t messing with these China guys . They arrma” took a page from them on new groms . A must going over 35 for plug play no practice set up . Gyro “

It's a big thing for me i don't care if it's the best rc car ever if i can't repair it, buying from arrma/traxxas makes most sense because in 10 years i could probably still order all the parts to rebuild my stuff. I wonder if Rlaarlo or XLf are going to exist in a few years. True my cars might be outdated in a few years but for general bashing or just having fun doesn't really matter.
Having money doesn't mean you can spend it recklessly and most people, no matter how rich, don't want to waste money for no reason. The kislux is the best solution to save money and save face.
Yet another rubbish rc in my view...false advertising re top speed, it uses the same size shocks front & rear, blatent yet poor attempt at imitating reputable quality brands, & whats with the drag brake that can't be tuned out. I do like the vids you make even with rubbish cars...coz the potential buyer knows what's out there.
That braking part killed it for me. Now I can only imagine that something is gonna break soon if I would keep pushing it. I also support you with skate park bashing. Stunts, yeah but obvious and deliberate attempts to destroy the car is unrespectful, I think

you're test ground is great. My poor MJX truck weighs 2x more than stock I don't think it can skatepark anymore. those tires seem legit

When they measure the top speed many of the budget companies use unloaded wheel speed, not actual driving speed under load.
