You forgot a few upgrades on the Z71 package! First was the upgraded rear suspension as well as tow package to include a bigger radiator!! And let's not forget the cool Z71 stickers!!!
@@FirstPlaceAutoParts Is a free 1990 K2500 worth putting 3k into? I'm in highschool. It has 4x4, auto, 350, ext cab, shortbed, and believe it's a silverado
My grandmother bought a 88 GMC SLE that someone else had ordered but never bought, leaving it there on the lot. Its a little bit different than what was standard, while being the top trim level the person who originally ordered the truck wanted manual windows. So here I am, with that very same truck that is the highest trim level of its year... with manual windows. Its a great truck and I will never sell it, especially since its my first vehicle so sentimental reasons too.
I used to be the same way when I ordered. Back in the 90's it seemed liek that shit just tore up, I used to think power windows in a truck was goofy, lol. Crazy how things change....
My sister just bought a 95 C1500 Silverado trim blue with the 5.7 350 its her first truck and she loves it she accidentally peeled out in it when we pulled out of the lot 😂 she was used to driving my grandmas toyota sequoia with really grippy all terrains sounds way better than the sequoia too but chevy takes pride in that
On the GMT400's Chevy dropped the Scottsdale trim on the C/K Pick-Ups on the mid-late '92 models, in '93 GMC dropped the SLX trim on the Sierra. GMC introduced the SLT trim in which we all know comes with leather seats, power mirrors, and power seats for the late '94 model Sierras although making the SLE trim the middle trim prior to the '95 interior update. For the '99-'00 Classic models Chevy did away with the Cheyenne and Silverado trim level names on the carry-over models with Base (Cheyenne) and LS (Silverado) to avoid confusion with the GMT800 Silverado.
I have a 92 cheyenne,k1500, and I love it! I paid 700$ all it needed was new parking brake cables around it,which I did,now I just gotta figure out how to adjust it and make it tight so it actually works...BUT THERES NO IN DEPTH VIDEO'S ON THE CYLINDER STYLE EQUALIZER setup its got....hint hint, lol 😂
Anyone know how to tell if you have factory power lock? My 94 GMC Sierra has Aftermarket Key Fob so Im not sure if the Truck has factory power lock and the owner before me was just to lazy to repair it?
I never knew the 454 was only offered from 90-93. Nice to know thanks. Very informative video.
Great video! Everything was explained really well and it was easy to understand what you were saying. Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Thank you I have a 98 Cheyenne
Looking into buying an obs suburban, your videos have been very helpful and entertaining

@@Jimmy-dp7fd If it's complete and not rotted out, yes. You'd have a hard time finding one running and driving for 3k that's not beat to hell
These videos are great very well explained and now I know what a brake booster is more to learn🤙🏼
