Ultimately, wheels will be modular. Dealers will order modules to be able to assemble many combinations from a spread sheet. Its the wheel equivalent of Lego blocks. If a module is not a steady seller, its only a module and cheaper than the whole machine. No more inventory liquidation sales, and warranty work can be module replacement. Obsolete modules become repair parts and eventually surplus disposal. Good luck finding the batteries needed to rebuild that battery pack. It doesn't take 30 years to brick a battery.
This next batch of wheels coming is overwhelming and confusing. I'm halting any purchase. So many out there, I have decided to wait for reviews from frontline testers like you Marco.
I get your beef. That said, no one can deny they're pushing the boundaries. End of the day, they made a decision to mfgr as many models & as quick as the market will bear. Is that a right strategy? I dont know but no one can deny we are living in the Golden Age of EUCs. We now have so many choices & having choices is much better than less. We dont have to buy & if we dont, then obviously GW/BG will have to change but if we do buy, then obviously they're doing it right. Regardless, I'm super stoked at the amt of choices we have now.
I get what you are saying but is slowing down all the market in Europe and uk I can say because I know how things were done before… beside that I prefer a good built construction wheel than more options and Begode is lacking in construction they made a great Begode hero (the only I would buy until now)
@@MADpack have u seen how they are now testing the T4 & how quick they are responding to feedback? to be honest, I am very stoked they GW is finally listening & are making quality changes. sure GW can & should do better & so can all of us. I have pre ordered a latest batch T4 (with all fixes incl motor/stator) bcos it is a wheel I want to ride. its getting me excited on doing some gnarly mtb trails. no one else is doing this.
Talking about taking on feedback InMotion was the first to do it.. and I will agree with you if the master was not a massive deep in quality compared to the hero
For sure the Hero was a well constructed wheel, but it’s comparatively complex design and lack of user-friendliness in terms of servicing as well as high initial cost deterred many users. The Master is by no means perfect yet, but it is advancing both ease of servicing, eg tyre changing, as well as ride technology, so much so that other manufacturers are upping their game and trying to at least offer 134v wheels, with suspension, etc, albeit at a much slower turnaround or delivery speed. It may be that distributors will eventually order on the same lines as they do in USA, where a preorder deposit is taken and a consignment of wheels are eventually delivered. Funnily enough, more wheels are ‘sold out’ before they arrive, and another order is the result. As for keeping inventories of parts, customers will have to have their expectations managed according to popularity of the product they have chosen, or the relationships between dealers and manufacturers will have to improve in terms of parts availability. Overall, it’s healthy to have competition, and we are very fortunate to have choice. But to suggest that manufacturers (or one leading manufacturer) are not to develop and offer new products is a little näive, imagine suggesting this to car manufacturers!
@@MADpack For sure. We used to hate GW/BG's total silence lack of response to its customers. Now, they are starting to have a factory rep presence on FB (far's I know) & are actually listening with quick fixes. Sure its better to not need fixes in the 1st place but heck, who doesnt have new models birthing issues. The latest T4 test have them trying to climb stupid loose dirt super steep incline & dumping the wheel. Thats the kinda of testing we need. They responded with a new motor, diff pedals & a knobby instead of the hybrid. I'd call it progress. Not perfect but atleast we're getting somewhere.
That’s really bad and I’m really sorry to hear that… the Begode ex was one of the wheels I love the most to ride until today such a massive love I had for that wheel but I said in my review I had a massive concern of that suspension but in high speeds for the street was my favourite suspension because it was small but fast to get back to the original position
Bro - this is the most relevant amazing wheel video in a long time.... Amazing - amazing video. I love this. You really did the damn thing here. I never contemplated the vacuum and what it does to the distributors. Thanks for doing what you do.
We risk to have less and less distributors in Europe and uk … I used to work with 2 distributors in the uk now only working with one because the other just do accessories now and Erides is now waiting to see what happens to the market so… I think I don’t have to say more :/
Begode isn't killing the market, it's European law makers. As a company why would I invest heavily in a country that for the most part banned my product? Doesn't make business sense. I get your point though.
I can tell you for the perspective of someone that work with euc for the last 4 years and the impact that I’ve suffer.. the European law makers didn’t make distributors to don’t risk and open there stores… but this is reducing the investment on eucs from the actual offer that we have
@@MADpack True, I guess there's always a bit more to the story not seen on my side. I'm in the US and there aren't many laws for EUC's yet. 900miles and haven't been bothered outside of general curiosity.
Very good points in this one, Madpack. I've been eyeing a Begode T4, but maybe I'll take a pass on it. Love my RS though. And that model seems to have some staying power.
After speaking to a few distributors mainly due to the on going issues with the T4, if you requested a t4 then they ship ship/airfreight one for you but wont hold stock... a few have had their fingers burnt with the Commander, ( excellent wheel i have one but expensive) and Abrams (cutout king E-rides have a solution but no one want the wheel).......... Money just sitting there.
@@extremedv6219 but then they don’t offer the one wheel quite a lot of people might get if its issues are sorted? You can preorder a V13 and Sherman-S which are quite far away and completely untested, but not the T4, which is soon shipping 2nd batch wheels.
@@JoachimVesely I have a Master 40T at customs, and I have ordered an EX30 getting the wheel airfrieghted over... you can get Aby wheel you want, yes the T4 looks like a fun nimble wheel... erides will hold stock once the problems are sorted.

Instead of making so many wheels, they should improve the wheels. Doing fixes and sell mods and gear. Make the quality better and better waterproofing. And have like fast sporty wheels and some cruiser wheels with less speed but more comfy. And good beginner wheels that can take a beating. Maybe be upgradeable from beginner to better wheel with bigger battery .. Loved this video. Cheers from Denmark
@@MADpack often it is like that if they just spit out things all the time. I am about to sell my nikola plus 100v and get a newer wheel ( beginner 300km ) But not sure what to get, kinda dont want another begode. But i need atleast a wheel with same range. So .. s22 and not so great sliders, v12 less battery or get a begode .. Begode do make better range wheels But i hear you.
@@ronniliechti7594 FYI latest Master batch has water ingress improvements, check out the electric unicycle forum, there’s a thread on the Master, and Begode seem now to be responding well to feedback from customers and real influencers. If you consider the range that Begode offer, they do in fact do quite much of what you are suggesting they do. I wonder when it was that the last Begode wheel went up on fire, and is this an issue unique to Begode, or to current Lithium cell chemistry? I hear of buses in Paris, Tesla’s here and there, as well as all the other car and wheel brands very occasionally suffering an episode of fire. The design of the Master battery packs is at the same time i) safe, owing to the comparatively low voltage they output per pack, but ii) vulnerable to puncture by a stone because of the flimsy plastic battery pack housing ( - at least we can mitigate this risk by fitting stainless steel or alloy or even tin protective plates on the side next to the wheel, so that any sharp stone kicked up cannot puncture the plastic box). KS S20/22 and InM V12’s have been disastrous lemons for many riders, now waiting months for replacement motherboards, etc, time that riders wished they were riding!
I can see that you are a Begode fan and when we talk with a fan of a brand we get blind and we are not able to see the big picture.. hopefully I had the opportunity to ride to many Begode wheels like, mps, msx, rs, Nikola, hero, master, mten3, exn ht, exn hs, ex… and the master in quality is the worst Begode wheel that I ever ride… I don’t have to say more
Hello Marco, would it be safe to install another battery in my 16xs after 5 months of use? I've let the bms cell balance for almost every charge. Also thanks for covering this topic in your video, i very much agree that begode is releasing way too many wheels
Like the V12 or the S22 -both in the workshops awaiting motherboards that actually permit them to be ridden? Let me get back to you on that… The InMotion V13 is sure to be the heavyweight champion wheel…. Of 2024, if they get a move on 😂
Sounds like supplier's are already making the choice what to stock or not stock. What exactly do we do? It's a hobby that is rapidly becoming more popular and I feel these manufacturers are struggling to keep up with expectations in one category or another. You may say they are hurting the market, but the market is voted on by the wallets aquiring the product. If i sell vanilla ice cream and the guy next to me is selling chocolate and I see everyone get out of my line to get the chocolate line imma start selling chocolate!
First of all thank you for your comment. But I’m very confused. You say that manufactures are struggling to keep up but if you see something new you will do so if you are struggling should you not make better choices instead?
Yes but you don’t go and simply kill your previous product just because yes look to the hero in the uk people had already payed for reserving there wheel, they were still waiting to get them here in the uk and before release the master and all orders of the hero drop off so they were responsible to basically eat there own market.. in other words is called a lack of production plan
@@MADpack oh....they cancelled pre-orders or did the supplier? They've shipped a few and You can still pre-order with my supplier. I think the eu suppliers backed out.
Someone needs to sit begode down and talk.... someone needs to slap kingsong in the face and sit them down and talk...tell inmotion to go in the next room and play video games...
KingSong dealers are also having trouble, now that the S20, wait, S22, wait, S24 (fixed motor?) and our local dealer will NOT take the S22 back (I tried to get a refund after the motor issues were announced even after staying with my preorder after the FIRES) and they were pretty straight up that KS is ONLY giving them motors to fix the recall issue and NOT accepting returns based on recalls. If you buy an S22 *you are on your own* so be very aware of what burden you are incurring, beyond the 3200 USD sticker price. I am ready to BUILD MY OWN because there is OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE for balancing wheels available, several projects are actively working on this technology. If nothing else, we could build a harmonic ring drive and magnetic gearing so we can have much better performance with a lot lighter weight. Brute force builds are ALWAYS heavy and 100% of EUC on the market right now are the definition of brute force build - motor, tire, pedals, seat, battery, nothing more. Zero elegance or reliability in design, you're dependent upon component makers to build in the safety even if the EUC makers break the safety the component manufacturers have implemented, which is very much a false security, which is BAD. I mean, making new tech was my actual job before the accident...it's been a two year cringefest while I've been watching the evolution of the EUC market...there is so much they simply Just Don't Do(TM) that wouldn't even cost any more, they just don't seem to understand or know to do it, manufacturign and design wise.
Considering the royal ‘goat rodeos’ surrounding the recent KingSong and InMotion offerings and all the troubles that have occurred with them, it might be argued that the Begode wheels have an advantage inasmuch as at least they tend to run. There are wheels in their line up which can be discounted equally, because they aren’t yet fully sorted, but overall, the range of Begode wheels, from MSP forwards, have been evolving in a positive and generally well received manner, as is evidenced by their popularity. There will always be a ‘next’ new wheel, but for those who are able to make a choice based upon their own personal criteria, it may be best for them to enjoy their chosen wheel, and forget about chasing the next greatest thing, irrespective of the hype - the most hyped wheels in the last couple of years, the KS S20/22 and the InMotion V12 have both crashed and burned (sometimes literally), in spite of the lovin’ praise heaped on them by ‘influencers’, and have been extremely damaging products for dealers to get involved with. Begode have simply got on with developing their range, and released their wheels without much fanfare or advance hyper-hype. Their quality of construction can be irritating, but they tend to improve batch by batch, which shows they are interested in improving their products, products that at least do primarily function. As we all can now see, it pays to wait for the second or third batch wheels, once the first batch issues have been addressed, which they largely do. Being salty about their comparative success won’t change the facts. Looking forward to the reviews of the Sherman-S, which will likely be the best all round suspension wheel of 2023 -not too heavy, well designed and built using quality materials, and functional, also rather free of the froth and nonsense surrounding the so-called competitors, who in reality have yet to really get their acts together and deliver upon their much promised ‘hyper’- wheels.
Sorry bro I’m not going to even read this one since is your 5th comment in the same video and always like a radical Begode fan… I’m a fan of eucs I don’t care who wins the fight the important is that is euc riders we win in the end of the day and master and others is a shame you talk about the s22 when Begode order the same motors than had issues on the s22… they just care about how much money they can save to make kore

This is a very odd angle to take on the amazing pace that EUC technology is advancing. I personally am so glad that we have all these new wheels coming out. There is no reason for this to be a problem for distributors. New products cycle in all markets. This is life. Distributors shouldn't be buying 5 years worth of bulk... They buy what they expect to sale, and then they do it again and again and again. And they make money. Sometimes they have "sales or clearances" That's fine, they still make money.
Where are you based? And you lost all the important part of the video I can see… and is not an odd angle is just the truth you don’t need to agree but I deal with distributors from everywhere and I see the effect
I’ve got my kingsong ks16s, model released in 2016, and I can get spare parts for it almost instantly if I need to. Good quality wheel can serve you for several years. I have had almost 22k km mileage on my ks18xl and I can fix it and replace motherboard for example, can buy it in the first place, after 3+ years. Gotway is a totally different story. For any particular model, in a year you most probably won’t be able to obtain spare parts for repair. Even for long-lived models like Tesla t2 for example - there are different and incompatible versions of motheboards

This next batch of wheels coming is overwhelming and confusing. I'm halting any purchase. So many out there, I have decided to wait for reviews from frontline testers like you Marco.
Thank you so much my friend we will have to see what I can get to review but my options now are very limited unfortunately
Exactly, my begode ex chambers are dead and cannot buy them anymore :(
Chambers?
@@MADpack air dampers for suspension contacted factory , many dealers allieexpress they vanished :(
That’s really bad and I’m really sorry to hear that… the Begode ex was one of the wheels I love the most to ride until today such a massive love I had for that wheel but I said in my review I had a massive concern of that suspension but in high speeds for the street was my favourite suspension because it was small but fast to get back to the original position
Bro - this is the most relevant amazing wheel video in a long time.... Amazing - amazing video. I love this.
You really did the damn thing here. I never contemplated the vacuum and what it does to the distributors. Thanks for doing what you do.
Thank you so much to take the time to write a comment and happy that you found this video relevant :)
@@MADpack it gave me deep empathy for the distributors and helped me understand how moving so fast through the wheels could mess up the hobby.
We risk to have less and less distributors in Europe and uk … I used to work with 2 distributors in the uk now only working with one because the other just do accessories now and Erides is now waiting to see what happens to the market so… I think I don’t have to say more :/
7:10 hahahaha yeah, he moved and left everything because he had to wait a bit longer for a new EUC to for testing, hahaha
And yes it was happening to him like it happen to me and on UA-cam is all about timing if you want your channel to grow and be more relevant
@@MADpack he had some personal issues, he even took a brake form his youtube channel to get his mental health on the right track...
Yes is really hard to be on UA-cam is not easy I had already some burn out since I open the channel 4 years ago
Is like the police enforcement if you are outside of London I think you are ok I’ve been riding for 4 years and no issues what so ever
So true.

Begode : Madpack says we sell too many wheels !!
Apple : HOLD MY BEER
I really didn’t understand the joke sorry
Agreed, They are just making way too many wheels
Thank you so much man
Very good points in this one, Madpack. I've been eyeing a Begode T4, but maybe I'll take a pass on it. Love my RS though. And that model seems to have some staying power.
Definitely and in waterproofing if you cover the handle the RS will be superior to the T4
Is this the reason there are no T4s in stock in the UK yet? Or are they waiting for 2nd batch?
That I can’t really answer but distributor are waiting to see when things get more stable so they can order new wheels to many issues at the minute
@@extremedv6219 yeah, I know you can order them from China yourself.
My question was about the local distributors. I don’t mind waiting, just wondering what’s going on.
chinese are just crazy... they need to speed more money and time on safety for the users ...
Exactly the most important thing is money and nobody cares for us if a master gets some what’re going in the batteries and you are charging at home do you feel safe? I’m tired of this
Instead of making so many wheels, they should improve the wheels.
Happy to liked the video I think Begode still don’t care about the market just to make the maximum money they can
@@MADpack often it is like that if they just spit out things all the time.
I am about to sell my nikola plus 100v and get a newer wheel ( beginner 300km )
But not sure what to get, kinda dont want another begode.
But i need atleast a wheel with same range.
So .. s22 and not so great sliders, v12 less battery or get a begode ..
Begode do make better range wheels
But i hear you.
The v12hs have a great battery management if doing like 90km is enough for you I was going 90km and arriving home with 38% of vattery
Why you want to change you battery after 5 months did you found any issues?!
@@MADpack no no no issues, because in the 16xs there is only 1 battery in the right side,so i want two like the 16x has :)
You can make that if the battery was new
@@MADpack what do you mean? The battery i will buy will be new yes?
Yes but you can’t connect when the other battery is not new they will not balance and is dangerous to make that
May be stop buying Begode for a while! Go for Inmotion and KS
Unfortunately the market also don’t work like that
Like the V12 or the S22 -both in the workshops awaiting motherboards that actually permit them to be ridden? Let me get back to you on that… The InMotion V13 is sure to be the heavyweight champion wheel…. Of 2024, if they get a move on 😂
V12 motherboards are out they took months because in opposite of Begode they answer to the community offering replacements motherboard
@@MADpack if you see your competition produce something that gets a lot of attention.... you might do the same or better, no?
Yes but you don’t go and simply kill your previous product just because yes look to the hero in the uk people had already payed for reserving there wheel, they were still waiting to get them here in the uk and before release the master and all orders of the hero drop off so they were responsible to basically eat there own market.. in other words is called a lack of production plan
@@MADpack oh....they cancelled pre-orders or did the supplier? They've shipped a few and You can still pre-order with my supplier. I think the eu suppliers backed out.
Them not the supplier and supplier was getting with a full order without sales this happen in the uk is the reality

Agreed 🤝
Thanks my friend :)
Someone needs to sit begode down and talk.... someone needs to slap kingsong in the face and sit them down and talk...tell inmotion to go in the next room and play video games...
Lololol the part of the video games I didn’t understand bro
I think inmotion and begode should work together to create a wheel of the decade
That will never happen
@@MADpack if Inmotion buys Begode, or the opposite, maybe, similar to Segway+Ninebot=Z10
Yeah only if one company buys the other otherwise it will never happen bro
Thank you for your thought I hope you are better after you accident and fully recovered
@@MADpack stay blissful. But know that I’m as critical of Begode wheels as the next maker, make no mistake about that, what I don’t get is why you have so much hate for them, beyond rational reasoning.
When you think that I hate a brand when the previous wheel the before hero that you can see on the channel I consider one of the best wheels for 2022 that just make me laugh and shows that you are not a regular viewer of the channel…
Mad pack I’m excited for this video
Hope you enjoy it
maybe stop buying begode, it will make them stop flooding the market.
I can’t control that I don’t even buy a wheel since the kingsong 16x
Hi how are u
Not to bad and you?!
Ahahah you are starting with the same one that I started 4 years ago
@@MADpack I have a question.. is there any way for the pads to be not flat but little bit up on toes? The calibration just makes the pads flat and doesn’t care if I tilt it up lol this is bad because the pads are going down too often on low speeds.. wheel doesn’t even want to accelerate on car curbs
Are you saying the bottom part of pad that comes with the master?
@@MADpack I mean on the ninebot z10 I can’t make the pads to be tilted up that I’m standing on. Maybe there’s an app for that different than ninebot provides where I can change that?
