Im about to do this for my 2005 T5, do you need to connect a separate connection to the ignition so it switches when the van does or is that not needed?

Can you easily see the screen in sunny days?

Not if sunlight is directly on it no, out of the thousands of these I’ve done over the years nobody has ever complained however.

PJ - Have you ever done a video of a Vauxhall Mokka stereo install ? i have changed 2 stereos from your videos but cant find 1 for this car - i want to install a Pioneer unit and fascia kit from connects 2 - thanks

I have this model of radio and T5 but having issues with there not being a 12v constant feed and the radio resetting every time I turn the van off.
Pretty new to wiring so any advice on this?

You could run a constant feed from something is is powered all the time like the central locking.

Thanks for the guide. Very helpful indeed. I am wanting to fit a Sony XAV-AX1000 to my 2007 T5 California. This unit does not have DAB, only FM radio. Do you know whether I would still need a powered FM aerial in this case?
