Wondering, at 0:52, how did you remove the silver vent trim on that cover, do those just screw off? Thanks!

its very tricky there are some very small notches that you can get a small flathead screwdriver in and turn them clockwise. mercedes has a specific tool for this part and i dont know if you can buy it from the dealership or not in the parts department but after we did this install the shop i was at went and purchased the special tool. but if you use the flathead screwdrivers just be careful cause that ring is thin

Thanks for your promptness. I have searched for hours about this little silver trim piece that goes over the air vent. Mine is loose and I saw in your video that you had removed the one closest to the keyhole in this video. My right front one is loose. Just wondering how that part came off. Is it slightly screwed on? Seems like it is is just held by a notch like you could just slightly screw it on and off.

@@jsrenner777 yes it was screwed on. We had to turn that thing until it screwed off. if I remember correctly
