umdiscodevinil No,, I suspect it has nothing to do with his playing- he’s obviously a good player-- It’s this insipid canned garbagey music that all these great players are miming to.-- So it’s like musicians should be all inspired to practice their asses off so they can produce a bitcoin utube video......... sad that this is what the music world has come to.--, a vicarious TV. Thrill rather than the wonderful communal and tribal activity it used to be.
@@Crabbadabba This is why I hate the upvote/downvote system. To me, a downvote isn't "I don't like this", it's "this video is so bad, not only do I not like it, I don't think anyone else should even watch it!".
Personally, when I don't like a video just because it's not my thing or whatever, I don't vote at all, I move on. Only the stuff I think is total garbage or offensive get my downvote, as I think that's how it should work.

Hot damn, boy! You got this song in the pocket. Honestly one of the most impressive drumming styles out there, and I saw those rudiment 4's on the floor tom to finish the fill. One of my favorite drummers, for sure!

Jabrond Gamble I appreciate that Jamal doesn’t feel he has play the most expensive drums. He chose to highlight how good these “intermediate” drums sound. Same with Eric Moore. I’m picking up a set this weekend myself.

Does anyone know how drummers do live play alongs exactly like Jamal did in this video? I wanna know what I need to get the music playing through the PA system and my headphones simultaneously while I'm playing. If there's a way I could get the music playing through the PA system but with the simultaneous click track through my headphones as well that would be a huge plus.

Maple almost for sure, color looks like cherry stain, got a kit in this fnish and it's even nicer in truth, DW can make any kit any time btw you only got to pay and wait for it lol
