it looks nice to me looks like evryone is enjoying their day having a good time it looks like a nice evening. kids are out, people are always to focused on the fact there’s a lot people living close in small spaces. shoot if you wake up happy go to sleep happy and can spend the day with friends family eat good chill outside and enjoy the fresh air that’s a good day right there.
Are you high? He's driving through housing projects most of the video and people hang outside in every hood in America. What, do you think people in "worse" hoods never come outside the house when it's nice? GTFO. Norfolk is dangerous. When I lived there, I lived in one of the nicest areas and still heard gunshots at night.
Had a Amazon delivery to these projects...never again lol I stopped because my delivery address was close so I was looking for the number..and all of a sudden a guy opened his front door about 150ft from where I was parked and just opened gun fire at a car parked in the road the car then sped off..I was about to jump out of my skin..dangerous doesn't even come close to describe these projects

I grew up in Norfolk and thought I had an idea of what a bad area looked like. That all changed when I took a job in Kansas City and moved there. There are people living in conditions that I simply could not do justice to describe if I tried. Whole neighborhoods that stretch for miles of unmowed yards, holes in roofs, broken down cars all over the place, missing windows, and yes, people still live there. Norfolk by comparison is the garden of Eden. After having been gone for 20+ years and now returning, Norfolk has improved considerably from when I grew up here.
Alot more action in this Norfolk video than your Richmond video. You couldn't tell there was a Covid19 in your Norfolk video...I miss my city, been in Stockton California for 2 years now, hopefully I will visit this summer.
@@StromLxrd6 bro it's okay BUT its completely different from the 7 cities back home....back home in Norfolk,Virginia beach,Chesapeake, Suffolk,Portsmouth, Hampton & Newport news we have so many nice quite places to settle down & get married have kids & just raise a family....plus you have alot of things to do in Hampton roads, we got the Virginia beach oceanfront, The waterpark, Gokart track, TopGolf, putt putt golf, Skyzone, Several bounce house type places for kids, The museum next to the waterpark in Virginia beach, Waterside in Norfolk with Nauticus, the Norfolk Naval shipyard, Portside in Portsmouth, Virginia beach town center....these are just a very small amount of things to do in Hampton roads but there is tons more like Busch gardens in Williamsburg Virginia & many more...plus Hampton roads is close to alot of other happening places like 3.5 hours from DC, very close to college basketball country in Durham, Raleigh,Chapel Hill NC etc.... on the other hand here in Stockton California yes its rough & everywhere you go there is homeless out the ass, it took us 3 months to find a house & we feel it's the best we could afford in a decent neighborhood....we got 3 kids so we had to make sure it was in a good school district, we pay $310k for a 4 bedroom 2 car garage home in a gated community but once we come out of our gates its homeless walking up & down our street & with there shopping karts stacked 8 feet high with all there shit. Not much for kids to do here & it's only 13% African American....alot of gangs here & everybody wants to act like they a gangbanger even if they not...smh
What so crazy is if you did a video from the 80s it would look the same. Other then the cars being newer models. Its a sham how ower community don't look any better. When we as a human society suppose to be evolving.

It'll be nice to see the hoods of Hampton and Newport News. I loved hanging out there when I was younger. Live in the Beach now. But will always love Norfolk, and the Peninsula 💓💜💓
The hoods are crazy here. I’m in south Norfolk right across from Broadlawn and shootings are a weekly event. We definitely still have “projects” here, keep your head on a swivel. It’s an interesting city because you can be in a nice new home (ours were just built in 2019) and you go a block up or make one wrong turn, and you’re in a bad spot…
What does it look like to be privileged? The autonomy to exploit a predominantly African-American community and then call it “the worst neighborhood” in its city. I typically could care less about the opinions of the ignorant but I pride myself on where I’m from and love to enlighten the naive, such as yourself. To begin, never refer to Olde Huntersville or any neighborhood in Norfolk as “the worst neighborhood”. While you were busy letting your prejudiced views scare you, you missed out on experiencing the strength of the community. A community that taught me how to ride a bike when I was eight years old. A homeland to generations of families on almost every street. A recreational space where my family hosted a volleyball game for our neighbors to join and celebrate “Juneteenth” in 2019. Your commentary throughout the video made it clear you obtained most of your information from a quick Google search. Nonetheless, I must acknowledge your ability to gain a respectful number of subscribers. With that acknowledgment, may I ask why you decide to excoriate communities instead of advocating for the beautification of these towns? I hope you genuinely ponder on that question before you create another video. If you ever find the humility I can arrange for the President of the NAACP Norfolk branch to give you a proper tour of Olde Huntersville where she also happens to reside. Lastly, may I suggest getting out of the car next time so those from the Olde Huntersville neighborhood can give you a friendly “Hello”?
I'm moving to Norfolk this coming June from Illinois. Bf is military. I really need to learn which areas are okay and which might be a little sketchy as I'm and uber eats driver. I know nothing of any neighborhoods.
This is majorly the downtown area of Norfolk. The closer you are to the bases the better the area. This video literally shows you the worst of the worst which I would say only accounts for a small percentage of Norfolk. You also can be in Virginia Beach within minutes which has bad areas as well but overall is decent and family friendly.

Together, we must continue disconnecting from their culture and way of life. The pursuit of money, material wealth and uncontrollable sexual desires are destroying the mental balance and security against unseen forces that seek to destroy the people. We are the ancestors of our future selves. Therefore, we must set aside our differences and form alliances worldwide without nations that have inherited a past of unsettling truths. The life of unity exists in the security of our communities, nations, and the protection of our people. Our new and innovative race is now active.

@@frankblue5250 I clearly said four of the fiv3 cities from VA as one of America's most dangerous cities in the country not top 5 of America's most dangerous cities. Richmond has been on Detroit and Baltimore level numerous times do your research
Dude you do know nun of those are the most dangerous cities for Virginia right lol. Those are the cities with the most murders, killing is only one crime the most dangerous city in Virginia is Portsmouth Va you can google it
Calvert Park/Tidewater Garden, not far from Downtown Norfolk. I drive through many of these areas as a Lyft driver and am more comfortable there than lot of other places. My church also feeds the homeless there as well. We have a local anti-violence group and we go throughout the area.
In Norfolk & Portsmouth the Heroin comes in clear capsules that you buy at GNC. In Newport News & Hampton the dope comes in the usual wax bags with the stamp.
Until ya move somewhere and realize what 757 had to offer and the distinctiveness the area holds... if you a native have pride in ya cities... no one else is like here tbh
Eh charlie can you do a video answering some questions about yourself? The economic standing in this region is quite good especially for black people...... there are plenty Shipyard jobs and Maritime opportunities...... Norfolk and the surrounding seven Cities area has one of the biggest black middle class in the country.... this is just three neighborhoods.....

I've been to Norfolk on several occasions and never went through this area. Yeah, this is 'hood, with a whole lot of good people in there mixed with some bad.
YP(Young Park) is the largest park in Norfolk. It’s huge and have the most units. Only if they can bring back AM1350 AM850 W.R.A.P. Rap radio, the after school Rap Attack. The parks was so live
I’ve done a lot of deliveries in this area at night and never felt threatened, hell I’d even leave the car running. I’m still exploring other parts of the city but so far it doesn’t look too bad. Although tbf my standard of bad is Detroit since I lived nearby and worked there for a long time
And all of that is about a 5 minute drive from very beautiful and wealthy neighborhoods...it's crazy to me how diverse Norfolk is, but unfortunately, Norfolk is falling apart. It's sad because this city is very historical and is one of the oldest cities in the United States.

Graduate of BTW; Marching Bookers 4Eva! 💯 Love my 7 Cities and nobody can tell me anything bad about em because for the last 30 years since I left there, I’ve lived in Chicago raising my children. 💪🏽

Yeah then it gets dark outside
Yeah and then people get shot, the crime rate tells me a different story.

What, do you think people in "worse" hoods never come outside the house when it's nice? GTFO. Norfolk is dangerous.
You couldn't tell there was a Covid19 in your Norfolk video...I miss my city, been in Stockton California for 2 years now, hopefully I will visit this summer.
man heard Stockton rough how you like living out there?
