Antlion Audio ModMic Wireless Test and Review

In this video I check out the ModMic Wireless from Antlion.
Full disclosure; Antlion sent this out to me to review. the fact that they sent the product for review in no way affects the outcome of the review.
The ModMic Wireless sports two pick up modes - Uni-Directional (Cardioid) and Omni Direction.
The UniDirectional mode offers or more compressed sound which helps mitigate those pesky keyboard sounds and other nuisance sounds. The OmiDirectional mode gives a greater frequency range and captures all the sounds.
it comes with several (3) stick on magnets that act as a very clever little mount for the modmic itself.
The design of the mount allows for quick and easy removal of the ModMic Wireless and can be used to rotate the ModMic in 90Degree increments for those times that you just want it out of sight.
The main bulk of the wireless transmitter is encased in a robust matt black plastic housing and sports the main control button on its face and a Micro USB connector at the bottom.
The Lovely hard case of goodies also holds within a usb dongle/receiver that has the mute indicator and other useful things like power.

finally, they made wireless. ive been using modmic for quite a few years now. their microphones sound absolutely fantastic

They actually been out for a long time, had a buddy who used it for ages. Only thing he complained about was after a year or more, the battery got drained a bit quicker than at beginning. Had a USB version for years myself and it was really nice, but i now moved onto wireless for a bit of movement freedom (getting coffee etc).

How strong is the magnet? I guess there's no noticeable issues with the magnet being so close to the driver?
