    Oh Cathy....thanks for the painting method! Why did I not ever think of that!?! 😄 I've always done the dip method which is messy and yes ya get a lot of torn pages. I have an ink jet printer so if I use regular weight copy paper it does ruin the front of the digi...but if I use hp premium 32, I can do a quick light spray bottle method on the back. I have better success with that. I'm going to try painting on the back of the premium paper and see if that works.

    This is great, I love how mess free it is! Last time I rag dyed my papers, they turned out with really interesting patterns, but sometimes I do want an even coat and this is perfect for it, thank you! ❤
    As I might have commented before, I've been in a pink mood recently, I sort of wondered if beets would be good for dyeing, since I don't like avocado dye too much because I tend to iron my papers and they get brown from the heat. So good to know they work, I might try it later after I'm done with my thesis (please send help 🥴😂)! 💕

    Oh and now I am going to have to try this mixing as well lol
    I have fresh beet water on the stove waiting for me to beet dye papers and now I am going to have to add coffee after I get the pink from the beets first.
    A question Cathy on the beet process, with vinegar in the mix do you add bi carb soda to neutralise the vinegar like with the coffee?
    I dip and bake my papers 😂 including digitals, when they are grungy to start with in their appearance dipping and baking gives the pages that bit extra grunge appearance and yes, the sound ... oh yes, that sound lol
    Have you used Turmeric? I have been meaning to do so, but not sure on how it would behave with the papers. I guess just giving it a go is the way to find out eh?
    Those paper towels with the staining from other projects would make lovely background papers for texture and colour.
    Those rings were doing what watercolour does when you do the wet on wet technique 😊
    Loved this video and your chuckles.

    • @CathysGardenllc
      @CathysGardenllc  7 місяців тому

      You will need to keep them separated until they are at least damp then you could stack them and let them dry completely. The drying time will depend on the humidity you have in your area. 💐🥰

  • @normafavela3912
    @normafavela3912 9 місяців тому

      @CathysGardenllc  9 місяців тому

      I place them into a container that has mesh sides. Then I air dry them either outside or just place them around my craft room before I leave for the day and they are dry my morning. They are not
      ”wet” like they are when you dunk them into coffee mixture.
