Would a TJM dual compressor fit do you think? I believe the duty cycles are better than the ARB. i was just curious.
I just installed mine any complaints so far I should look out for?

This is an awesome setup and thank you for all your videos! Curious though why you opted for the passenger seat and not the drivers seat?
My main concern with putting the compressor under the seat is how much damn dog hair collects on the floor mats in my truck. Where are the air intakes on the arb twin?
They have those little filters. Good point though to keep them clean.
Curious how hard it would be to clean under there. I’d be worried that stuff would get muddy/snowy/wet over time.
Well there’s a large ridge between the whole system and footwell space that semi protects it all. For vacuuming etc, I’d just pull the seat. It’s 4 bolts and like a minute with a drill.
Love the setup. In my 2015 Tacoma I have the Desert Does It mount under the passenger seat. ARB Twin and Midland MXT275 mounted to it. FasterFlate 4 tire inflation system and Ethernet port mounted on the Dash. Handset rides in the center console until I need it.
So the same setup does exist! I knew saying that in my thumbnail would bring someone into the comment section who had done that.
@@OverlandEngineerHaha. Great minds think alike. I only have the hose system from FasterFlate. I don’t have the block and bracket like yours.
I have a weird switch setup too. I have the toggle switch to turn the compressor on/off in the DD mount. But the trigger wire is hooked up to my SwitchPros.
@@Thergood interesting. So do you have a single pole double throw(I think that’s right)? Like you can control with a switch and the switch pros
@@OverlandEngineer No. I turn it on at the SwitchPros and then I have to hit the toggle switch on the DD bracket. I did it this way because sometimes I use the compressor to blow dust off the back of the truck. Just a couple quick bursts with an air chuck. I wanted to be able to do this with the engine off. The SwitchPros gives me an easy way to do that without powering the toggle switch full time.

So the arb twin really fits under 4runner seat, dessert page said only single unit for 4runner 🤔 Now i want this setup !!

Yeah its pretty slick. Saves a lot of engine bay space and makes it easier to work on. Wasn't using that space under the seat before!
