- In this video I replace the original scales of my Victorinox Camper with Micarta scales.
I got the inspiration to do this modification from these UA-camrs:

I’m doing the same with my wife’s Victorinox Climber in a few days. This was helpful, thanks.
That's great! I hope she likes it. I still haven't finished mine with something like tung oil or maybe linseed oil. The job will require such a small amount so I need to shop around and see what's available in small quantities. I've just been using it unfinished and I love it. 😀
Hi there! I have recently come across your channel and have enjoyed watching you discuss your knives. I am hoping to learn more about pens and journals from you. I noticed that you mentioned in this video that on your Victorinox Camper you wished it had a nail file instead of the small blade. You might want to look into the Evolution (Evo Grip) models of Swiss Army knives; these are a design that were originally a design of the Wenger company, but Victorinox kept these models once the two companies merged. Most of these models have a small nail cleaner/file in place of the small blade. You might like the Evo Grip 17 or 18 as they have saws on those models as well. Once again, nice video.
I just found it! The Evo Grip 10 appears to be the tool combination I'm looking for. Thanks for the suggestion, Woodchuck! 😀
Great, thorough review 🙂
Thank you! 😀
I've got a Victorinox German Army knife. Your new scales make it look just like mine. It looks great.
Thank you! I'm loving it. 😀
Hey Cathy! It's great to hear from you. My favorite edc multifunctional is a Leatherman Skeletool. But, Ive always wanted to get a Swiss Army knife. You strike me as involved in the edc community?
