    Thanks for the video. One little tip, the term 'On Premise' is pronounced 'On Prem ice". (The ice doesn't rhyme with mice like rice or mce, it rhymes with miss or kiss).

    Hi Debarchan, Thanks a lot for the session. Although I boarded it late but was fruitful. You said for a Deep Dive Session on ADLS... where you probably explain how ADLS is NOT SAME as HDFS but similar. Would you mind to tag me to that link , please.

    I think AWS is providing a Lambda function to run the job/query in a serverless architecture model, we no need to worry about cluster launch, resources etc. we just need to submit the job and it will run and give the results for us. Isn't this Data Lake Analytics also a kind of AWS Lambda function? can you please clarify?

      Yes, they both sound similar. While I am not too familiar with AWS, but based on your description, it sounds that both are similar offerings.

    Very nice explanation. Hello sir, apart from .net, is there any other way to script? I am not into MS scripting / programming languages.

      I think you an use python, scala and Java in place of .NET.

    Hello Sir. What will happen if we make number of ADLAUs greater than number of vertex ?

    • @DebarchanSarkar
      @DebarchanSarkar  7 років тому

      Hello. In that case, there would be more ADLAUs than vertices to process. This means ADLAUs will be idle (as there is no vertex) and you would be wasting resources = money.
