- Exciting high speed boat action at Haulover Inlet and some nice yachts to round it all out. My friend @JamesTheCaptain crushes Haulover in a Leopard 27 Open, ZEN. Something to note, Haulover is a busy inlet. Small boats should not be loitering or taking it slow. Get in, get out or get out of the way!

After watching your videos, it's more like goal yachtS: 1) something for fishing; 2) a runner, like a Corsair 36 or Aquariva Super ; 3) balls out crazy, like a Cigarette or MTI cat, and 4) something with cabins, like a Absolute 64 Navetta or 88 Folgore. Make that fantasy yachts.
I really enjoy your videos, especially the Haulover episodes, and very much appreciate your making them. Gives us gearheads in colder climes a great distraction. That said, your admonition to the small boater here is simply wrong. He has as much right to be there as anyone, going at whatever legal speed he wishes. Maritime rules of the road favor workboats, but all pleasure boats are created equal.

@@ZipZapPower Yeah it it- I'm not sure if one brand is more popular than the other, but I know they have had Midnight Express, Van Dutch, those Iguana, boat/ tank track thing, and recently Pardo - good for them though, Brett seems like a great guy

My "Goal Yacht" is a bit more modest than yours is, although the Riva IS a beautiful boat. So is the Leopard, Pershing and several of the others (not the Pardo, that thing is _still_ butt ugly to me). Even if I hit a big MegaMillions (over $400M for the 1-1-2021 draw!) I'd get something along the lines of a Tiara 53 Coupe or an ArrowCat 420. Something that can be handled easily by two non-professional boat operators but still large enough for a fairly extended stay onboard.

Your goal boat is nice, but it sure doesn't look like a 76 footer. I like the flying bridge, many boats that are this basic model are sedans. I wouldn't want a sedan. Not for that kind of money.
I was loving the J 14 until at 4;00 and then the guy went the other direction and he did not store his fenders ridiculous. What is the matter with people! store your fenders.
