Thanks bro, I have a Swift desire 2011 model and very less driven and a day before yesterday I was about to go out but gear lever play like joystick. Reverse gear was not working at all. I was very nervous and worried about there may be something wrong with the gearbox. I was looking for solution in UA-cam and found your video. I gained some confidence. I opened the gear lever cover check the gear shifter cable, they are okay. Than I opened the Bonnet and check the shifter. One of the shifting cable is coming out of the connection, it's completely okay. Just the bushing was missing. I just put the cable in its place. Now it's working perfectly. Bushing is not available in one of the local authorised dealer, I placed order online and 1 bush cost ₹25 only.
