Lol, I've always been this way about people shouting at the TV during the football game, and it's not just older people. My brother has been doing it ever since we were kids! I get the enthusiasm, but all the football fans in my family literally act like the players can hear them. 🤣
John Candy was such a great actor! He’s not just being weird in this scene, he’s playing the host of a radio show down on its luck. Just look at the expression on his face at 2:25 when he points to the microphone for Seymour to talk into it. He looks slightly perturbed and doesn’t want his segment to be ruined by silence from his guest. He’s really playing a regular guy putting on the act of being Wink on the radio all day for not much money. Such nuance for a bit part. I love that guy!
3:10 "I can't believe it, it couldn't be-" Oh right, they cut that number out and replaced it with a horribly repetitive totally gratuitous number that isn't even in the right spot.
The part where Mr. Mushnik tried to talk to Seymour through the radio was hilarious. Reminds me of how old people still don't get technology.
Haha yes 😂😂😂😂

I don't think he believes he can talk to Seymour through the radio. He's just hoping Seymour remembers to mention the address.
@@j.b.9260 Yes, he is hoping that Seymour remembers to mention the address. At a loud volume.
If this was a real radio show I would legit listen every time it was on.
The faces they both make throughout the scene are pure cinema gold
R.I.P. John Candy (1950-1994).
Seymour’s reaction to weird wilkin is hilarious!
1:37 When he suddenly drops his tone and says, "What are you doing here?" 😂
Barf and Lord Helmet before they fled earth from the plant invasion
love John Candy
R.I.P. John Candy
