The man is not a thief, you allowed the man to upsell you with an excursion that is why the price was 50. You basically chartered him. In that time that you stayed taking pictures, he could have made multiple trips with multiple customers. Compare the $50 to the $10. trip. Uber in Jamaica is cheaper than hackney (charter) taxi
First of all we spent less than 5 minutes taking pictures so he could not have done multiple trips in 5 minutes, and secondly if he wasn’t tryna rip us off why would he charge us 10 dollars to go to the same distance the Uber charged us 3 dollars to go to??? I understand that it would cost a little more to wait etc but he knew we were tourists and he took the opportunity to get what he could..
