Insightful and well presented. The only glitch encountered with this console pertains to inability to send to DAW where the channel strip is assigned to any given 1/4" AUX input rather than an XLR. Soundcraft admittedly did not incorporate the means to do so into the architecture. Otherwise a powerful console. Glad to have found this video.
I am trying to troubleshoot some issues with this same console. On shutdown, should the console retain its current state at the time the shutdown is initiated? It stands to reason that when I start the console again, my mutes, gains, faders, etc., should all return to their previous positions at which they were shutdown in. At this point they are not consistently returning to their positions. Maybe every 8th-10th shutdown will it boot to the state it was shutdown. I've used other digital consoles in this same class; M32, X32, Presonus, etc. that all reboot to their previous states they were shutdown in. And I thought that this was the case with these Soundcraft consoles.
I'm sorry but you have no idea what matrix and audio delay is for.. But this is not the biggest problem here, why buy something expensive and use only 50% of its capabilities..?

Sorry for the late reply Carson, yes i think the console should retain the state when its shut down. Our one definitely does

Vitalie Ch that’s an easy answer... it’s a church and they are rolling in cash and buy the best of everything. You know, blessed are the meek and all!
Otherwise, good video, the guy dealt very well with an initially very rude sounding person behind the camera
@@barriegunning I'm still at the beginning of the video right now but so far, the guy behind the camera is rude as hell.
@@beatsbyj-dan5858 yeah hes acting like a bit of a douchebag, hate sound guys with this attitude
