Thank you so much for this video of Godalming, Surrey, England. I was born here in April 1945. My mother and I left England in March of 1946. I have been in the States ever since. Never been able to afford to travel. I am 74 years old and this video is a wonderful gift for an old woman. Can't thank you enough for the share. Would have liked to have seen more of the shops and gardens.
Thank you for this ! I've lived in Raynes Park, Mitcham, Godalming, South Norwood, Crowborough, Wimbledon, Battersea, Lancing, Hove and now Brighton. Godalming was by far the best. Beautiful area and chilled people.
Thanks very much for watching....I have lived in many places also...It is nice to move around..I think that is why I make these kind of videos....Keep watching :) R
Thank you for this. I was born in Godalming, went to the bell school (Moss Lane) then on to Meadrow school and on to the new school at Broadwater. I have been living in Devon for 46 years, Really takes me back!

Awww I love your comment: If we get lost, lets get lost together! Super! Thank you for sharing this lovely town that I visited once about 15 years ago! (All the way from Cape Town!)
I went to secondary school in Godalming (for four years), so this really takes me back a quite a way.. It is both surprising - and wonderful - how little it has changed. It is so very much as I remember it.
I was born in Guildford and was fortunate enough to live in Godalming until I was 5, at which point I moved to US where I still live. I’m hoping to go to the University of Edinburgh in a few years. Maybe I can travel down to visit every so often.
Just subscribed to your channel, thanks for such a lovely insight in Surrey and Godalming. . It’s a lovely town, l visited there recently, l like the vibe, my kind of relax, hope l can afford to live there some day.
Thanks for the lovely walk. Perfect day for it. Hope your meeting went well. Belgium?? 😱😂 Since the US is not in it, I’ve been rooting for the teams my various Liverpool footballers are playing in. Will be rooting for England because of Henderson and Alexander-Arnold. Should be a good match. Thanks again for the vlog!
This has really helped me.. I wanted to move into Guildford but really dont know where in Guildford. It would be really helpful if you could show the other areas like Normandy etc so that we can see what they are like as well.
Hi, could`nt help but notice how many people you walked past in silence, no Hello`s or good mornings, is that because of you holding the camera or are english people simply more shy. I come from Northern Ireland and everyone we pass on the street gets a big Hello or other greeting.
Most of the video was filmed facing the sun. This washes out everything and creates an unpleasant glare. That's a pity since otherwise your camerawork was quite good.

Do they have room for the tourist to rent here?
making us seasick with all the camera swinging around. best to film from a standing position.
Thumbnail is Guildford though
i hate shaky videos but thanks for effort
Thanks for watching....Will try and be more stable in the future....
