I tried and almost succeeded in making a telemark snowboard. I'll keep trying but it was a lot of fun so far. #freeheellife #telemarkski #skiing #snowboarding
Hell yeah Chuck! Just came across your channel. Absolutely love to see this sort of stuff. I don’t want to backseat engineer, so feel free to ignore this next part. I just can’t help it😂 You might try using some sort of cold temp lubricant to help the blocks slide? Maybe a bearing system? I would also consider making the blocks a bit longer to prevent them from getting caught on the cross section. Excited to see this project come to fruition! Super rad🤙🤙🤙
Thanks for the comment, totally wish the blocks were longer. Ideally it's three times as long as the Gap but if I did that then the block would have been almost as long as the rail. I'll keep trying.
I'm not a snowboarder or skier so I don't know what I'm talking about. But if you just want both your feet on the same side, why don't you just have two small tracks on the very top and very bottom?
oh im shocked this doesnt have more views than this ! that was a really good video
I'd love to know what the lifty was thinking. Pretty fun looking project! The unscheduled rapid disassembly of the hacksaw, freakin hilarious.

Timing will never be right as long as you have a cross section. Maybe a tangential setup?
that is a telemark monoski 😂
Ik u want see this but why not use bearings? To make it easier to slide your feet
He had bearings in his first interation and they failed... Also this was only testing a theory
