8:55 to 9:05 was the best thing I've ever seen. Mango feelin' himself SO hard and the crowd's going insane, and PP's like "uh-uh, honey" with a creative death combo.
The excuse of mango not trying is obviously not true but it defiantly seems like ppmd wants it more. Seems like he came more prepared mentally and physically
Pauliwhop personally like mango better but this match , mango failed too many techchase and ppmd is pretty consistent, you get hit by him and he combos you to death
Im like wayyy too late but for anyone seeing this in the future it’s some kind of calming ritual. Him having pursued studies in psychology definitely has to do with the fact he has one
+LukeMM95 Both haters and fanboys, as a concept, are rather desperate to begin with. The stance from which the game can be best appreciated is the neutral one.
I love how the top 4 players are the best at 2 different characters. Mango - one of the top 2 Fox and Falco PPMD - one of the top 2 Marth and Falco M2K - one of the top 2 Marth and Shiek Armada - one of the top 2 Peach and Fox (when he's on point, he's unstoppable)
Well, you'd need way more than that lmao. If you wanted to beat Mango, you'd have to have absolute comfort with your character/s, have an above average Punish Game, great fundamentals, and strong mental game. Don't know if you are trolling, but that's the real answer.
ViolentSh4de I can agree... sadly. I'm only 15 and can't afford/emulate melee. I find it more fun to watch over smash 4 as its just to slow, way to slow.
Waddlez most inexpensive way is probably modding a Wii all you need is an SD card You can mod a Wii U as well to play GC games, and I would also suggest a mayflash adapter instead of the official Nintendo GC controller adapter
Can someone help me do that double laser on 1:31? What input do you need for that? Is it just walk off ledge, jump backward, then hit control stick forward, laser, and then hold back? I'm having problem doing that specific set up and don't seem to get the perfect timing for it.
+Jimmy Thao Walk off stage, double jump, double laser, control stick towards the stage. You don't need to jump backwards for it because you you can hold back right after you laser so that you don't side b and you'll land back on stage. I doubt Peepee did a backwards jump because it's completely unnecessary and does the same thing as I said.
*sigh* I hate when commentators act like Mang0 is using genius mindgames for doing something optimal. There was no "nice fakeout" by Mang0 around 4:00... he saw where PPMD was, avoided overextending, and cleaned out the stock.
When I was watching this video, I felt so hyped. PPMD is godlike when playing Falco while Mango is very good at Fox. Both of them were so entertaining to see. I didn’t know who to vote for because their so awesome! Love you videos and this has to be my favorite.
Can someone explain how PP does a full hop lasers, but the full hop is interruted so it's not such a high full hop. He made it look like fox's full hop at 4:23
I swear from January to June, PPMD bodied literally all the top players (4 stocked M2K 3 times) and looked like he was clearly the best. Then he said in an interview in like May 2014 that he was dealing with depression and getting sick and it went down hill from there. But damn, cant help but imagine the game if he didnt get sick.
Yeah, people have obviously gotten a lot better in the years following this. It's interesting to look at tournament footage from years ago and see how much things have advanced since then. Hopefully PPMD comes back so we can see what his Falco can do today.
Jahaal Mordeth I'm pretty sure none of you guys know why he took a break because he's said multiple times he's taking time off for many reasons and he won't disclose them.
Dr PeePee's face at 1:57 when he gets hit by the inverted part of the F-smash hitbox x'D.. I love Mang0 but PeePee is just impeccable once he starts firing up. I miss everything about him. Please come back! We need the Doc!

Do you, UA-cam algorithm think I'm gonna watch a 8 year old set of PPMD vs Mang0? You're very correct

8:48-8:55 brilliant commentary, holy shit.
come on esam play melee too!

8:55 to 9:05 was the best thing I've ever seen. Mango feelin' himself SO hard and the crowd's going insane, and PP's like "uh-uh, honey" with a creative death combo.
fucking hell. Mang0 with a beard looks 30. Mang0 without a beard looks 17.
with beard and 20 kg more
8:50 is one of my favorite moments in melee history. I love how expressive you can be in this game

I would :)

The excuse of mango not trying is obviously not true but it defiantly seems like ppmd wants it more. Seems like he came more prepared mentally and physically
It's always easy to work up the motivation when you are the underdog. Hard to keep it up as the favorite for as long as mango has
Hamilton Newhart gimme a break dude. He tried his absolute best got beat by PP... it wasn’t the first or the last time either
If there were ppmd bobbleheads, I might accidentally take the real one
+eric liu i dont get it
+eric liu remember when pp had that Abraham Lincoln beard. Am I right
Mango lost because he didn't have his beard.
I'm just kidding, PPMD is my favorite player, good spacing, great matches.
Pauliwhop No Johns
(yes I read the bottom)
Pauliwhop personally like mango better but this match , mango failed too many techchase and ppmd is pretty consistent, you get hit by him and he combos you to death

Guys, I'm entering to a project M tourney in my town, any advices using Pikachu-Fox-Roy/Jiggs (help me chose which also :b) anyone?
Mexican, specifically, chihuahua n.n
Pikachu and Fox are good if you like speeding around while hitting your opponents unexpectedly. Pikachu is more mobile but fox is more versatile IF you can do all his crazy complicated techniques. Be very careful about picking up fox- if you're willing to put in tons of work learning him he'll work out fine, and your work will pay off marvelously since his advanced techniques will likely prove satisfying and devastating. If you don't practice a lot however you'll get utterly destroyed due to his bad recovery and perfect combo weight. Pikachu can be played at a very low or very high level. From what I can see pika looks very fun to play- watch a video of axe playing pika to see what the character can do. Pika is an "in your face" character and will be very fun to play if you love playing offensively.
Roy is similar to Marth in that if your opponents are good you have to play well and know how to zone your opponents. Smart play however is greatly rewarded with him. If you enjoy analyzing your opponents and keeping them out then Roy is a great choice- he can still be played offensively too.
Jiggs is ridiculously mobile in the air, and can dance circles around opponents. If you master the back air you can constantly throw out hitboxes and mindgame your opponent. If you like that sort of thing than Jiggs is a good choice. If you don't find that fufilling enough remember that Jiggs has rest- a high risk extreme reward move. If you don't have quick hands or have difficulty performing advanced maneuvers Jiggs is also great, as it allows complicated play even despite a lack of controller mastery.
If you already knew all of this then I'm sorry bif I wasted your time. If not, feel free to ask me any questions. Though I am by no means great with any of these characters, I've seen them enough to get a grasp of them.
I actually didn'y knew that XD thanks, but one thing, can you explain the "throw out hitboxes?" more plz :b
