Gosh darn it- I ordered a large IVS in August - hope to see it getting built soon- now you got me wanting to get one of these. Love the stuff LSG is producing.
I bought two sizes of the Gabby's Grill attachment for the Weber grills and I LOVE THEM. Especially at the park or lake front. If I had one of these I'd never leave the yard. Looks amazing.
I would love one of those grills but don’t think they will be available quite yet in Australia. It’s great to see you putting up new content. It would be even better to see you making content for the channel more frequently. Keep up the good work.
That is a phenomenal cooker that is going to have find its way into my backyard! Can't wait to see you cook on it. Maybe totally traditional and do a Tri-Tip over oak!
For real! We’re gonna heck of a deal. LOL. I used to be able to find a pretty good Tri tips at Costco but they stopped selling them a few years ago. Now I can still find them but they’re never good looking.
I got mine in Costco in Goleta, CA for $299 it's made by Santa Maria Grills. 20x30". Very common around here in the 805. I also added a charcoal/wood grate to keep the coals up off the bottom for better air flow under the wood so you have better airflow and cleaner burning wood.
@@BabyBackManiac That LSG Santa Maria is going to last a lifetime, the quality and craftsmanship is stunning! Hope you're grilling something delicious on it tonight. Have a great weekend!

Justin thank you, thank you for the review! I am so pumped! I ordered mine July 6 and call to see were it was in the fabrication process. Found out they started it on September 15 so I should get the email that it ready some day this week. No more Webber kettle and no more flare ups. Just crank the wheel! Got the 20 by 36 offset smoker last year. Big fan of you and T-Roy! Look forward to seeing yah cook on what we both own! Oh did I mention that I’m just a little bit pumped about about getting my Santa Maria grill for LSG?
This sure is a neat option....I don't know that I host enough parties to really use something like that properly but I could see something like this on a trailer making a grate catering grill too! Nice review.
Ricer's usually right about alot of things but lets not tell him. The last thing we need is for him to get cocky(-er). LOL. Just kidding. Thanks for watching, Kevin
This is definitely a dream cooker. My only suggestion for lone star would be to add an additional perpendicular layer of expanded metal to the coal racks to keep those smaller coals from falling through. Looks like the backyard is getting crowded!
The other thing is the fact that the brasero design doesn't allow you to sweep the coals from the brasero box to the cooking chamber. Having to shovel them all the way out and then back in seems like a pain. I'm sure they can come up with a design that integrates the brasero into the cook chamber
Great Vid 👍🏿 The Santa Maria style pits just look like so much fun to cook on. I have my LSG offset coming in a couple weeks and I can't wait to join the family. Be on the lookout for my unboxing/seasoning video coming soon. I'm sure it will be pretty rough so if you have any pointers for me. I'll be most gracious.. I can't tell you the amount of nights I've passed out watching videos from you, T-Roy, Grumpus, Russ, etc. You're all great, I look forward to connecting. Keep Smokin!
Congrats on the new grill. I appreciate you watching my stuff. I would say the best advice I can give is to think about The questions you had as a new buyer and try to answer them as best you can. It’s all about the audience.
Expanded metal cooking grates is what this model used to come with, I know because I have one. Unfortunately I took delivery of my LSG SMG last December and to my disappointment this grill was updated to include these new style grates you are showcasing like a month later. If I had only known or been informed, by LSG while My SMG was still in production, i would have gladly waited a month or longer for this new grate, and gladly paid more as well.

That's as good a reason as any. lol.
You can cook anything on that grill for us. That’s still one of the dream grills I want..thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching, Kevin. For what it's worth, It's a worthy dream grill inclusion IMHO. Thanks for watching!
Gosh darn it- I ordered a large IVS in August - hope to see it getting built soon- now you got me wanting to get one of these. Love the stuff LSG is producing.
So just to be clear, Louis....NOW is the point where you say "I don't need one more"? lol. (thanks for watching, bud.)
Looks fun Justin! I would love to have one of those!
You'd love it, Johnny. Hope you are well.
@@BabyBackManiac Doing just fine my friend!
getting mine this spring
Very cool grill. I ordered a Grill Works Architectural for my built in kitchen. Can't wait to play with fire all day and smell the juices!
Love your review,we’ll done, Justin. I need a bigger yard!
You and me both!
@@BabyBackManiac My offset is in transit and it’s the same as yours….gonna need a crane!!!!! Pellet grill was delivered Wednesday..,,.
@@Rbouch That's awesome. You are going to love it! Congrats!
I bought two sizes of the Gabby's Grill attachment for the Weber grills and I LOVE THEM. Especially at the park or lake front.
If I had one of these I'd never leave the yard. Looks amazing.
lol. Thanks for watching, PartyUpLive
Wow! I really want one of those. Definitely on my bucket list.
Congratulations! That’s absolutely badass!
Thanks, man. Appreciate you watching
I would love one of those grills but don’t think they will be available quite yet in Australia. It’s great to see you putting up new content. It would be even better to see you making content for the channel more frequently. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, Peter. I appreciate the kind words. Have a great weekend.
That is a phenomenal cooker that is going to have find its way into my backyard! Can't wait to see you cook on it. Maybe totally traditional and do a Tri-Tip over oak!
Now you need us Californians to send you some tri-tips. I'll trade for brisket lol. That thing looks amazing.
For real! We’re gonna heck of a deal. LOL. I used to be able to find a pretty good Tri tips
at Costco but they stopped selling them a few years ago. Now I can still find them but they’re never good looking.
Congrats 👍🏽👍🏽...that SM is 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, sir!
welp... we need to load that thing down lol. This is awesome JW. I also have a Santa Maria grill on my bucket list lol. Awesome video man
I have plans for us and this grill, Kenneth. Talk soon.
Yeah they aren't as common around here. Makes sense on the wood grate. Thanks for watching.
@@BabyBackManiac That LSG Santa Maria is going to last a lifetime, the quality and craftsmanship is stunning! Hope you're grilling something delicious on it tonight. Have a great weekend!
@@currentsupply But is it worth $2495?
I’m actually from Santa Maria we love our tri tip I got a grill passed down from my Tio it’s so sweet!
I think I could find a use for it.
Man that’s a pretty grill! If they only knew someone from cali who’s real familiar with Santa Maria style cooking… and is a beast tri tip…🤔🤔🤔 Lol! Great video Justin!
"...who is willing to take you to airport when you need a ride...and is one of the nicer guys you'll meet...and etc..."
lol. Thanks for watching, bro. Have a great weekend.
@@BabyBackManiac YES!!! Thanks brother you too!
That bad boy looks amazing I can’t imagine a better grill for doing a lot of steaks at once for a big party!
Exactly! That's how it all started...making lots of beef for hungry cattle ranchers 200 years ago.
Nice review Justin! This is definitely something I'll add to my outdoor kitchen bucket list!
This video got me so sold on this grill. I'm about to take delivery on my third LSG pit, but in a couple of years, this will be my fourth.
You sound like my kinda guy, Haniel. Thanks for watching.
Justin thank you, thank you for the review! I am so pumped! I ordered mine July 6 and call to see were it was in
the fabrication process. Found out they started it on September 15 so I should get the email that it ready
some day this week. No more Webber kettle and no more flare ups. Just crank the wheel! Got the 20 by 36
offset smoker last year. Big fan of you and T-Roy! Look forward to seeing yah cook on what we both own! Oh
did I mention that I’m just a little bit pumped about about getting my Santa Maria grill for LSG?
Lol. That’s awesome. Congratulations
Love the grill. I have the 48 inch lone star Santa maria grill,, so happy with the grill
I'm still learning to cook on my new LSG 20x36. It will be a while before I get another cooker.
That's an awesome cooker!
This sure is a neat option....I don't know that I host enough parties to really use something like that properly but I could see something like this on a trailer making a grate catering grill too! Nice review.
Is the flavor more like a charcoal grill or do you get some smoke too?
Ricer's right, you do make great video's!
Ricer's usually right about alot of things but lets not tell him. The last thing we need is for him to get cocky(-er).
LOL. Just kidding. Thanks for watching, Kevin
Glad you're back Justin! Great video. Would love to see a video doing ribs on this.
Will do!! Thanks, Collin
This is definitely a dream cooker. My only suggestion for lone star would be to add an additional perpendicular layer of expanded metal to the coal racks to keep those smaller coals from falling through.
Looks like the backyard is getting crowded!
It really is getting crowded. I'm going to have some tough choices to make before too long. Thanks for watching!
The other thing is the fact that the brasero design doesn't allow you to sweep the coals from the brasero box to the cooking chamber. Having to shovel them all the way out and then back in seems like a pain. I'm sure they can come up with a design that integrates the brasero into the cook chamber
How about grilling up some traditional Santa Maria Tri-Tip on red oak?
Great suggestion. The red oak is hard to find around here. I may have to order it from CA.
Please Please Please do a side by side comparison of the v grates versus the square bar grates.
In Santa Maria we normally use an 8 sec count to adjust heat 😇
makes sense.
Looks awesome! On my bucket list for sure
It's a fun one. Thanks for watching
@@BabyBackManiac Great advice 👍🏿
That thing is a behemoth! Lookin good Justin!
Thanks, Tom. Hope you are well.
That’s a fantastic grill. I can’t wait to get one in my collection.
Love the grill and love your reviews Justin, thanks so much for these informative and entertaining videos
Thanks, Stu. I really appreciate that
I would love to use one of these! Just can't justify the footprint on my little patio in addition to my offset.
The struggle is real, man.
