We're currently on our way to San Diego to deliver the grill to Sam! Be sure to follow us on IG and Facebook to join us! We will be having a meetup in San Diego at Not Not Tacos on Wednesday, October 23 at 7:00 PM. Come join us for some tacos and to hang out!
BBQ and welding, two of my favorite things combined!! Absolutely love this idea. Can I suggest y'all collaborate and build something beer-related next? 😀
New subscriber. Ilike cooking just as Sam does & I have been involved in the tractor business since a kid & have done many fabrications over the Years. Retired now & looking to increase my welding and machining skills in my new hobby workshop. And, Adam Booth has a very good channel too. Glad you guys worked together on this.
Pretty neat! Got to be nice working with all those tools! I make some real nice things and I have squat for tools .... pretty poor! I can hardly imagine what I could do with proper tools! Great work guys!
I’m a big Sam the cooking guy fan. Just say the grill you gave him. Nice work boys, I joined the community and am excited to see more of your amazing work.
I live these sort of build series videos. Particularly like how several channels are involved and making videos to continue the series. Great work guys 👍
I fu@k!n love STCG and just subscribed to your channel today because I want to learn welding and your videos are awesome. This is too much! His outdoor kitchen is badass!
Guys, last year I built two Argentine grills for use by staff at the private school I work at in Melbourne, Australia. Built on the top of two modified 4' x 2' school tables fitted with castor wheels and with a reinforced concrete base and nib wall while the grill frames were bought from a company in Sydney. Very popular with staff especially as our Chef is of Argentine heritage. Beef, lamb, chicken are all delicious when slow cooked this way. Delicious food, but a real danger to your diet and waistline.
Hay guys I have built 2 Argentina Grills so far, I took my design from a picture of one in an Argentina Steak house in that country. It was 20 feet long, mine are not that big,, 3 or 4 feet long. I can tell you they are the best wood/charcoal fired food cooker you will ever use. I make mine with a smoke box which sits on the grill which raises and lowers for the right heat. They cook fish/chicken/beef /pork/game/ and vegies,,,They are more versatile than a Santa Maria grill. Mine are on wheels so easy to move around. Great video again Jason.
Holy Crap... All of my favorites... Can't wait to see what Abom79 is doing! Killer build fellas! can't wait for part 2!!!! Oh yeah, get camera guy a tripod so he can help haha
Teaming up with Adam I see. You're keeping with good company there. He knows his way around a BBQ as much as he dose a lathe. If judged by the company you keep you're looking pretty good right now.
Jason very nice build but one thing I forgot to mention , is that Argentina Grills have a fuel box where you are going to put the left hand grill. You add your wood and charcoal there let fall thru the grate as coals and the sweep it over with the coal sweeper you are going to make, and position the coals under the grate as needed and raising it up or down as needed. ( use a heat probe as well )
Yup...I'm suffering from a bad case of "Shop Envy" here. The last BBQ I got to be involved with was when I was in the local community college welding program. We built a unit that looked like a submarine and donated it to the local Military Veterans group based there at the college (a lot of Navy Vets were there at the college).
Excellent collaboration between 3 channels if not more. I love it. ABOM79, Weld.com and of course Sam the Cooking Guy. Excellent channels working together to get to the next level. And big Thank you for Jason for his service for our nation. Ok now I do have to say it..... 1/4 for the fire pit please....
Now this is a video worth watching. Would love to see many many more videos like this. it shows a lot more then just welding in it. The fab work was awesome and i learned a lot. Thank you guys and waiting to see part 2 of this build. Channel name change (Weld.com And Fab) Perhaps? : ) God Bless.
I made my santa maria grill 2 years ago and I've been grilling for every occasion, every thing is 90 degree's but the legs that have a 5 degree angle and bevel to it so it doesn't tip over if the beer gets in the way.
Definitely enjoyed the new content/project approach! I've got the same break in 96" but unfortunately not real slick on using it. What about a video on that sometime?
Sorry, I am still not seeing it. I've looked under the Title of the video, then under the description of the video, and not seeing it. There are other Links under the description, just nothing about Cantesco.
Man, I wish you'd have done the build videos in lead up to the reveal, I watch Sam and saw the reveal and use, would love to be able to watch the build videos all at once now, watched this, but not sure I'll come back for the rest with the add and all. Nevertheless, great job guys.
Is there enough gap in the pans and the doors so you can move them when they're heated up? Looks tight and if they grow a little, you might get some interference. Looks awesome.
The grill is fucking AMAZING. Can't thank you guys enough!
🔥Christening the new addition: ua-cam.com/video/iOPaL-T3b_Q/v-deo.html
Was an absolute pleasure!
Subbed from therer

Is that a tax / business deduction? 😀
@@keithkorthals6183 It's the only way we could justify a 5,000 mile trip for tacos 🌮😂
Big fan. Learned a lot on metal working from you guys. Will definitely be there. Metal + food=awesomeness
Can you guys bring some 3xl merch too
I'm 6 hours north... if only the 805 was closer.
this is my two favorite channels colliding
Glad to hear it! We're getting to collaborate with our favorites too.

Josh W it was very smooth.
Cool guys! Looking forward to seeing the grill in action.
Us too! It's waiting for Sam for the maiden voyage. Your magnetic shim kit and especially the monster squares made fitting this up a breeze!

What an awesome build so far! Looking forward to going through the whole series & seeing the finished product.

Amazing! More project like this please
Great Colab!
Freaking awesome gesture, and design. You guys are badass welders/creators. Vid production/editing/flow is f ing super. New fan.

Great, now make me another paramotor :D
I’m just short of taking a welding course, but how much is the Break thingey?
nice!
What thickness did you make the doors out of?
Is there enough gap in the pans and the doors so you can move them when they're heated up? Looks tight and if they grow a little, you might get some interference. Looks awesome.
Fun stuff..
yo you got to have you a cast iron pit do some kind of beef stew over fire
If the grill stays outside, make some rain 🌧 holes in the bottom and ashtray
any chance you have plans for download for this work of art?
You should check out Jesse at Grisham Works. They make an awesome brake BrakesAlot. They are in Oak Hills Ca.
“Someone in the comments could have done it better” .....I’d have cut Diamonds, and put them in the back. 😂🤣😁. Inside OG joke of the year.
