I was literally going to say the same thing when I saw yours. The show was a 90s staple in my house. My mother had a thing for him and I saw him as an older Tommy the Green Ranger
This was a great homage to the Jean Claude Van Dam, Steven Segal, Chuck Norris, Silvester Stalone and many more movies of that era 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Hilarious 😂😂😂. Your intros are always gold 😂😂😂
What also too is the sound effects. In all those cheesy straight to video action movies. They are always racking their weapons. Even if they are already locked and loaded you still hear, click click even if the weapon is already primed and chambered.
Pretty sure you're thinking of Kung Fury, half-hour film on youtube playing on the 80s stuff. Would make for a great reaction if she's never seen it btw!
Definitely thinking of Kung Fury. David Hasslehoff even did a song with a music video for it, that's why when Ash said Night Rider it made Dave think of it.
The only thing this sketch needed to represent the full 80s action experience was to have the bad guy instructing someone to transfer money into a Swiss bank account on a giant cordless phone.
@pastHisPrime336 , I'm pretty sure you are correct. that Dave was probably thinking about Kung Fury. Hopefully Dave and Ash do a movie night reviewing it. It was a classic mini movie. Makes me want to watch it again after this video.
Well, I'll just state the obvious since I don't see it in the comments... this skit seems absolutely inspired by Metal Gear Solid, from the neck snapping to the music...
The woman who played the character he was rescuing played a role in True Blood and... well, the end of her story in that was hilarious to me because she was a very unlikeable character.
He is actually dressed like Lorenzo Lamas in Renegade. ULTIMATE 90s action cheese, and it was a series for like 5 or 6 yrs.
Real ngz know, Bobby Sixkiller lmao

Yep, Kung Fury and it should have won every award that year. Emmy, Tony, Oscar, Grammy, CMA, Kids Choice Award, BAFTA, Best in Show, all of them.
Even had a Hasselhoff cameo, if I remember correctly
I don't remember if he was in the movie. But he did do that music video for it@@kalysto
Kung Fury 2 Nov 2023…
The beautiful thing about Key and Peele skits is that we think we know what the punchline is going to be, and we are always wrong.
It's insane how well this caught the late 80's, early 90's daytime television or B movie. You get nostalgic just looking at it.
The intros to your reactions are “like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get!”.
Bravo!
I thought I'd seen every K&P episode, but somehow managed to miss this one. Thanks for reacting to this gem!
So glad you’re watching this one! I requested it many times for the OBs to react. Almost pissed myself at the very end the first time I saw it 😂
She's awesome. Love the personality.
Stephen Segal was in Sheriff Joe's Posse here in Phoenix, Arizona. Infamous insanity!
people already said it but yeah Kung Fury, knew exactly what you were talking about right away
This is a parody of shows like Renegade, Airwolf, Walker Texas Ranger and McGyver
3:27 Nice catch it was exactly an ode to such dialogues
Kung Fury was the movie my dude

Have to react to this 'Do You Have a Moment to Save the Children? - Key & Peele'
Definitely thinking of Kung Fury. David Hasslehoff even did a song with a music video for it, that's why when Ash said Night Rider it made Dave think of it.
It's a spin of the straight to video action movies of the late 80's early 90's as well as the early 90's syndicated action tv shows like Renegade.
Key & Peele are the best!
The comedian Kroll did a real funny military drone skit.
The only thing this sketch needed to represent the full 80s action experience was to have the bad guy instructing someone to transfer money into a Swiss bank account on a giant cordless phone.
Ash, thanks for the mushy face at the beginning. That's officially the new background on my work computer.
😂
Like Strike Force: Midnight on The Office, Michael Scott homemade movie.
Someone getting "Samurai Cop" vibes?

Oscar winning film!!!!💪👊🤜😅🤣😂👏🙌🙏👍🎉
Reminds me of Lorenzo Lamas and the cheesey TV show Renegade.
Thinking of Kung Fury?
I agree with Blue. Totally Lorenzo Lamas
OBD on the piss 😂😂😂
it's the twelve punches to the gut that gets me, everytime...
"Kung fu hustle" is an absolutely ridiculous movie. Try that one
More like Matt Hannon in " Samurai Cop".
Well hopefully a reaction to Kung Fury if possible.
Death Wish 3! 80s street punks take over a neighborhood in Brooklyn and Charles Bronson goes in to take care of them.
Who didn't have a massive crush on Steven Seagal? I DIDN'T.😁
Chuck Norris would whoop Stephen Seagal's ass
Damn, she said she loved another dudes goatee in front of daves red beard.
Chuck Norris the best martial artist/actor in my opinion! He has a show called Walker Texas Ranger that's really fun!
Did she talk about skyrim?! Okay, protect her with all cost!
4:12. think the stuntman climbing down that wall may be wearing darker colored pants than Key. Intentional?
What exactly does old school scream mean ?
Do they scream differently in the movies today?😊
Less Chuck, more Lorenzo Lamas. The show he starred in, Renegade, is a great mine for unintentional comedy.
can someone please give me a list of movies like this so I can watch them lol
Pretty sure this guy isn't a real sensei, K&P. Also another ridiculous one.
The woman who played the character he was rescuing played a role in True Blood and... well, the end of her story in that was hilarious to me because she was a very unlikeable character.
I love bollywood
This was still better than samurai cop 😂 the acting was so bad
Show her Tom Segura- Steven Segal, her crush will dessapear
Cliché: The Movie
A crush on Steven Segal??? Dave is so much better.
