People like this man right here ARE music. Plays because he loves to, sings because he feels the music. No make up, no fake shit, nothing but a man, his guitar, his voice and his love for music. His guitar is ragged but he plays it like it's worth $4500. Awesome, i would love to jam with this guy. Seems very sincere.
I saw him live in Mangawhai Tavern in New Zealand in 2010 and it was hands down one of the nicest shows I've ever been to! Every couple songs he would come down into the crowd to shake hands and give hugs then he'd hop back up on stage and tell stories before getting back into the music. It was really clear he was absolutely delighted to be there and we were all having so much fun it was like your best friend putting on a show just for you in your back garden
This is a real person... can't believe he isn't a character. This has no sense at all, this is totally unreall, this is so cool, I think my heart is gonna fucking blow up cuz I love this old man So Much!!!
I got to know Steve from watching Top Gear, the old one, he made this guitar from 2 old car hubcaps and sounded better than many other things I've heard. Beautiful blues, Thanks old man, amazing!
Seasick Steve, I wait many many many Years, till somebody shows up like HIM, by the way he looks like a brother to me, and I Will enjoy his music every minute I hear HIM,
I first heard the Blues on WLAC Nashville's late night High power radio station in the 1950s. I have seen most of the greats live. Steve is without doubt the #1 white bluesman of all time. If only someone had given him a break forty years ago he would now be the Man of the Blues. Good luck and I hope you can be with us a long time to come.
In 1976, he worked with French producer Lee Hallyday and fronted the disco group Crystal Grass. Leach appeared on two Crystal Grass albums released by Philips Records in France, and , the latter credited to Steve Leach with the Crystal Grass Orchestra. The group also released several singles including "You Can Be What You Dream".

From Dog House - Hubcap the progression in his Music is breathtaking & producing it on the instrument's that he has.........He Never Ceases to Amaze Me.
