Do ordinances for the dead of different sects cancel/overwrite each other? Let's say my dead grandpa gets baptised LDS by me, and later gets baptized Restored Branch by a relative who belongs to that sect, is the LDS baptism then invalid?
God is the ultimate judge. From Christ Church's point of view, all LDS Church Temple work was valid until April 6, 1978 when Gerald became prophet and LDS Church Temple work is no longer valid.
Good to see you, Dan and Ann. I love the story about volleyball in Marseille.
Thanks. Mission stories are the best.

I’m not familiar with Christ church at all. The 1978 reference, I’m assuming it’s a break away because of the change in the priesthood?
@@tokouatonga7914 that's the day Christ's Church was founded. We get into the founding more in part 2.
So, is this a breakaway that happened as a result of the black people being given the priesthood in 1978?
Correct. IDK why the racism isn't ever addressed in these interviews
Technically they broke away 2 months before the revelation. We do talk about the racism in part 6, but they weren't very candid.
The zoom in is terrible and very unnecessary
Unfortanately my camera focused on the star of David rather than the people, so they are out of focus. I'm sorry about that.
