alright . you were right 100% lol. i can’t believe i’ve been going almost 5 years not knowing this is the best way to cover my locs . i’ve been battling with lint . had a horrible car accident two yrs ago which had me on bed rest for many many months . so i was not able to do my hair at all. glad to know the first wrap you did worked for me . i’m an active sleeper i move a lot . next video i’m looking out for from your will be getting rid of excessive lint . i see you loc brush , but i need to get rid of old lint from when i couldn’t do my hair . thanks for your content. your hair looks great!
Oh!! Im so sorry you were in an accident . I am glad to hear you are doing okay?!! 💜 I think so far my recommendation to handling excess lint especially if its embedded in the locs and not safe to remove, is to dye the locs. I dyed my locs black with semi permanent and I think that made all the difference ✨✨🫶🏾
@@TheSKYYLife I am at point where it should be a year, but 3 months ago I had to restart. So, still in the early stages of my journey, honestly felt like i should have blogged it tbh for my socials since im trying to be a streamer just to have a more steady flow of content
Game changer! I did the pineapple wrap on my almost 3 yr old locs last night. It never came off! Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you for watching ☺️☺️☺️
Great tips on how to protect your locs while sleeping or hanging around the house.❤️❤️❤️

I just learned a new way to wrap my durag at night so I am very happy about that 🕺🏿. Thank you for sharing. This is a game changer 🔥💯
You are so smart and beautiful!!!!
Thank you!!
Thank you for the satin scarf update! Glad I subscribed and saw this.
Now I gotta try this pineapple method! 🔥
I’m glad you liked it! I love the pineapple method 😍😍😍 keep me updated !
@@TheSKYYLife thanks for replying, sure will!
Thank you, this helped so much I was wearing the durag so wrong causing my locs to fizzle up a lot and bonnets did not help
I am so happy it helped! How far along are you in your loc journey?

@@crowe531 take all the pictures and videos you can! Even if you don’t share them right away. I think you should go for it!!!
Best video! 🔥
i’m doing this tonight but will twist the ends . i usually try the first one but it’ comes off . i’ll try it again and will try the pineapple one
Try to tie the scarf once in the back and once in the front for extra security as well
Should I cover my dreads up all day and night ? Or just night
At night! If you don’t cover your locs during the day (mature locs) you may need to brush them / check them for lint regularly
Great idea my locs are now too long for durags and i hate bunching my locs all up to fit in the durag
that doesnt work for everyone.
Sorry about that. Try a bonnet w/satin band around the perimeter?
