Thank you, thank you, thank you. To you and to natural85. Last night, after trying this, was the first time a silk scarf has ever stayed on my head all night. I used to tie it like you used to tie yours. I tried bobby pins, layering multi scarfs, using a satin pillowcase WITH the scarf... all the things. I laughed about the midnight scarf adjustment because, yes. hahaha This worked!
You are so beautiful and funny! lol. this method is amazing, I can never keep anything on my head while I sleep but I'm going to try this tonight! I'm white with super fragile, frizzy, thick, dry ass hair and hope this will help me grow it out without as much damage! you are a goddess. props to naptural85 too!

Thanks for the video. I'm not black, nor do I wear a headscarf, but I've been wanting to make a black character for a book and I thought your technique seems to fit well for one of the characters. She's a mechanic and I think this is a style she would use, especially if it stays on while sleeping. Love the energy.

Very entertaining. You're going to make me buy a scarf because that's the exact reason why I gave them up years ago...they slipped off during the night, actually my sleep bonnet slips off too but not nearly as much as the scarf but I'm willing to give it another try after watching this.

Girl, so glad I saw this video!!!! I tied my scarf like this last night and it stayed! I have starter locs and my hair is super frizzy. I sleep on a satin pillowcase, but still my hair gets frizzy from tossing and turning. This technique was perfect, not to tight, no turning, and no slipping off. Thank you 🙏🏽
I had the same problem with my scarves as well. Hell, I would put on 2-3 different types to try to keep at least one of them on during the night and end up with a headache. I’d cut my hair into a twa because my scarves never stayed on. Trying his tonight. I already put it on too. I’m excited. I toss and turn a lot so this will be a good test for me. And I’m glad you pulled your ears out too. I hate my ears being tucked in. It makes me hot. And btw, I feel the same about VinD as you do Ty🤗. This worked. It’s the next morning and my scarf is still on. Will forever do this. Thanks for the video.

I’m wearing it with a curly blowdry at the minute and there is no frizz of messiness in the morning. I cannot wait to try it on my airdried curls!!
