The statues in Grevious' lair are of Kaleesh warriors. It's what Grevious looked like before becoming a cyborg
The statues are actually of Grievous himself, sort of documenting the process of his gradual transformation into a cyborg.
Grievous are also not an force-sensitive and yet can kill so many people including Jedis are quite a feat
the green jedi is kit fisto, one of the jedi who went with mace windu to arrest palpatine
and also the smiley guy on geonosis
Kit fisto is a high ranking master, thats why he stood against Grievous. Its worth noting that even the mid-low level masters aren't Grievous' level, so this was a great feat for both of them
The biggest problem with Grievous’ appearances in this show is that he’s always up against plot-armored Jedi and top-tier masters, so of course he loses a lot.

@@Suno6723 There was nothing TO ruin. All George was able to give Tartakovsky at the start of the 2003 Clone Wars was Grievous’ design, and that he hunted Jedi. Nothing about his personality in the movie had been laid out yet.
Tartakovsky obviously took this idea and ran with it in a completely different direction, but the movie was always going to end up making him a more mustache twirling type villain.

I get why you wanted Kit Fisto to go back and fight Grievous, but at that point there was no winning a straight up fight with him and he was in his lair so he couldn’t just wear him down. Kit Fisto is a great Jedi and warrior but he couldn’t take him on then and there, especially with magna guards there too

Grievous runs from most of the Jedi we follow in the series, but there are thousands of Jedi that are active during The Clone Wars that are not skilled enough to handle Grievous or Ventress and fall to him.

This brings back the menace of the 2003 Grievous, not the mustache twirling vilain he is mainly in the show.
The only reason he really seems that way through this show is that he always seems to be going up against opponents with a lot of plot armor. If we saw him fighting more less-important Jedi, he’d surely be depicted much the same way as his 2003 counterpart.
I don’t exactly remember which season and episodes, but when Ahsoka was taken by Hondu and the younglings went after her, the two of them fought. Ahsoka was trained by one of the most powerful Jedi and quite formidable for her young age, but it was clear that Grievous had the upper hand. Had Hondu not interfered, he would’ve taken Ahsoka out. It’s one of the rare moments where Grievous feels like a real menace as well.

31:17 That's the thing about Grevious, he isn't actually really a coward, I don't know if you also noticed but he normally only runs away or calls for help when a jedi starts to use the force on him in a way he just can't fight back against. Grevious isn't force-sensitve so he can only fight against some of the weaker force moves but has to run when they start using the more powerful ones, everytime Obi-Wan gives him a big force shove, Grevious will start to retreat. He's an unfair fighter, but not really a coward.
Grevious and Obi-Wan's final fight in Revenge Of The Sith at the landing pad is mostly hand-to-hand, and Obi doesn't use the force until Grevious kicks him off the ledge and is going to kill him with the Electrostaff - Obi Wan finally learned that Grevious runs when he over-uses the force, so he waited until the end of their fight to use it to grab the blaster and shoot him.
30:25 grievous before he became a cyborg, he has one of the most tragic backstories in all of Star Wars, also Kit Fisto one of the most underrated Jedi people tend to forget that due to how easy he was defeated by Palpatine in Episode 3

@landengoodner9841 actually anakin arrived during the fight and kit sensed him causing him to get distracted but since paplaptines office is so high up in the executive building it took him a while to get up there

genuine question: Is he stealing content from alex hefner? it seems like Don Townsend is reacting to exactly the same things as alex is and I have also noticed simularities in the way they are reacting (same expressions and such). Or is it just that Don is watching so much content that they just overlap. But I'm pretty sure that he starts new shows at the same time as alex. sometimes even if alex's content is still only on patreon. someone else seeing this too?

I see no parallels between Don‘s and Alex‘s behavior, none. I stopped watching Alex because of his almost constant yelling and screaming, the bad (and most of the time very childish) jokes he unnecessarily draws out to a point where he‘s actually missing key information from movies and then gets confused by it. Don, as proven in this very video, gets louder because he’s excited about the story and what will happen next. I watch neither of them frequent enough to have noticed similarities on their content uploads, so I can’t judge that. I doubt that one copies the behavior and expressions of the other, it’s more likely that they both express their emotions in a similar manner. If you then watch the both of them react to the same movie, they very likely will express the same emotions at the same time, which maybe could be confusing. Observation is subjective, maybe it’s that, but I don’t see what you see.
