Today, Jared gets his 4th major hip surgery in hopes to alleviate the pain in his hip that he has been experiencing for over half of his life. He is getting a total hip replacement surgery. It gets emotional - will this actually work? Then, of course, when Jared comes out of anethesia, things get hilarious! Join us on this journey as we see if this is the last surgery!

We know Jared is funny. Most videos tho I think we only get a third of his comedy BUT this video definitely shows his sweet, caring and comedic side. So happy he’s feeling better. Can’t wait to see what you do with the hip

When Jared said "I'm above the anesthesia" I laughed so hard I shot milkshake out of my mouth and nose! And Jared you do a very convincing Tom Jones for someone who's a little "above the anesthesia"🤣 So glad you're doing better Jared! Prayers for a speedy recovery! The kids cards and presents made me cry!

When Jared read Calvin’s note I cried. I’m such a sap lately, but it really is like watching my family member since I’ve been watching since Jackson was a baby. I’m hoping things are still going well and progressing well since surgery! Much love you guys ❤

I'm soooooo happy for Jared!! Having my hip replaced 5 years ago was the best thing. The pain was gone & I was able to actually walk!! He's going to be so much happier with a new hip. Yay Jared!!!!

Wow, what a beautiful video. Jared, I know it's been a couple of weeks since this, I hope your recover is going really well. The notes from the kids were beautiful. Jackson is sooo talented with art/drawing, please keep encouraging him with it, he has an insane amount of potential with it. I could see him being a graphics designer, illustrator etc. 😊 And happy belated birthday, Calvin!!❤️

The very first time I had surgery, it was like your experience in this video too! I definitely was in my happy place!! It took me awhile to truly wake up but now when I get surgery for something, they are immediately trying to wake me up and basically kick you out of the hospital or surgery center. At least that is what it feels like. Have a great recovery ❤

Wow, you did so well Jared, astonished you were so good at getting up and about. I had mine 23yrs ago, and it was very invasive, and long recovery, but, don't have any pain in that hip now.

As somebody who has had 3 labral repairs (bi-lateral), bone shaving and shaping, capsule opening and closing- 5 hip surgeries worth- and who still lives in chronic pain, I bawled through this entire vlog.
I feel alllll those feels for you. I understand all those tears and fears. I cannot wait until I’m 50 and my surgeon will talk hip replacements with me.
