Brilliant railway video again, this is an example of what a perfect train journey by the coastline would be like.

Wonderful and so much better than the snooty and unfriendly Dawlish Beach Cam's can produce.

One of my all time favourite places in Devon and to have a historic railway there too, well, a perfect combination! Another top quality video. Thank you.

4:29 - It's quite cool to see the 166s this far West - I grew up in Oxford and later Maidenhead, so I've got many memories of riding the Networkers before they were mostly replaced with Electrostars. They look right at home down on the coast!

Hey I was literally there on that day 😂! I didn't notice you unfortunately because I was with my friends. That was a beautiful day and it was my first time visiting Dawlish Warren, it was lovely! And I loved seeing all the trains going past the wall as well! Nice vid!

Beautifully shot, shame about the wind noise. I was only ever in that part of the World in 1979 on my 1st trip back to the UK and spent time on sleepers to Penzance. I miss the HST's 50's and 47's, and others (although seeing the truncated HST sets lifts my spirits!) Keep up the great work

UA-cam always goes a bit weird when the videos first go on. Takes it a while to register properly

    Hate the new seawall.
I bought my ground floor flat on Dawlish seafront for the view, now I have huge lumps of concrete in the way. May as well have stayed in London concrete jungle.

Retaining wall doesn't fit in.an eye sore.Even during high tide water wouldn't rise that high to obstruct railway track.

Checkout some of the other videos on UA-cam to see just how high and impressive waves can get over the wall and onto the track in winter.

@@wiliammound7942 In that eventuality this wall will be swept really.
