some of these questions are so useless. you can watch it and still understand it without the illustrator saying a word. Quit "nick-picking"! She did an easy enough job explaining it. Thank you sweetheart.
Aloha and Mahalo sweet Diane :-)
Diane Massie i agree
She had to explain because some people didn't get it most people understand but a few didn't
Thank you for your tutorials. Please exsplain the thickness of your photo paper.
Diane, thank you for such a wonderful tutorial! You explained everything precisely & also, you're very sweet
Thank you for saying that. I felt the same way. Just so warm and nice. I kept saying her family is blessed to have such a person in charge to learn from. Amazing knowledge and with care. )
Thank you so much. I have seen so many videos on this process. But have to say yours is the best and more professional finish. Beautiful.
Thank you for both parts to this video! Can't wait to order some large prints and get working. I think this will be a ongoing project for me throughout this year, making for family members to gift for Christmas
Beautiful work. The couple is truely blessed to get this gift.
Absolutely beautiful and a great tutorial! Thank you so much!

You did well!! Thank you, it turned out beautifully!😊
Thank you so much. You did a wonderful job explaining how to make this craft successful!😊👍

Excellent, thank you very much. Going to choose favourite pics of our travels. 💕
Hi , thank you for this wonderful tutorial. So easy to follow . I can't wait to try this new craft . Gina (England) xxxx
Mortalisa Wilson Thank you for your feedback. :-) And Yes -- I was 6 months pregnant on this video. And I had to make it super long because there was so much question on my 1st tutorial. I really did a slow step by step process. :-) You can use any brand out there. I get mine at Hobby Lobby or Joann's. That way you can use their 40% off coupon. Applying the Clear Coat at the end really helps to protect your hard work. I've had some canvas at home for 5 years and it still looks like I just did the project. Have a great day and thank you for visiting me. Mahalo... Diane
ASimplySimpleLife HALLO
WHAT WAS THE MATERIAL U USED ON 2:42 PROCESS? END OF PROCESS I KNOW U USED CLEAR COAT

Beautifully done! I love it!
Thank you so much! I could not remember how to do this! Your video was really helpful, thanks!
Brilliant one of the best step by step videos I have come across.
Thank you for sharing this tutorial I felt it easy to understand and I will definitely give this a go because Im not keen on the actual transfer process of turning the image right side down on glue then wetting and rolling the paper off to reveal the image I think this is much better and easier and less time consuming way so thank you very much xx
Amazing! Thank you so much for this tutorial! So excited to try now.
Thank you ---- it is so easy and I can't wait for you to try it. Please let me know how it turns out. Have a great weekend.

@@ASimplySimpleLife I’ve also ordered a charger for my SLR camera. Thank you I’ve connected again to something I loved years ago & life got in the way. Feeling inspired 😘🙏🏼😇
wow this tutorial was great!!! Thank you so much.....i now know what I can create for my sons wedding this July!!! You were great at explaining! Thanks again! and forget the haters!
Melba Lugo Thank you :) Your son will love them --- very easy process once you get the hang of it ... I don't let the Haters get the best of me --- A guy actually said I looked like a Fat Stick in this video --- I just laugh and say thank you -- I was 6 months pregnant with a healthy beautiful child inside me :-) Mahalo .. Thank you for visiting me. ..diane
This is the best method I have ever seen. Well explained. Mahalo for sharing
Great job!
Excellent tutorial!!! Thank you for sharing this video!!!:)))
+Marsha Perez Aloha Marsh :) You're welcome :) Happy halloween! Mahalo ..Diane
Great job! I will try now for myself.. Thank you :)
Beautiful,ty
Thanks for your instructive videos. I wonder about using spray glue to glue photo to canvas. Or - do you think using the mod podge as the glue helps the canvas texture to come through to the photo?
Awesome job
Thank you...love your video...can't wait to do photos of my grandchildren.
+Fono Sulusulu Aloha sweetie! aaawwww thank you :-) Glad you enjoyed it --- this is such an easy DIY and the result is so amazing that i still do them --- currently working on new canvases for the new home we just purchased and some new sample work for clients ... easy and cheap! Mahalo ..Diane
+ASimplySimpleLife will aleene's acrylic sealer matte finish protect from dust im planning on making it today
Hi,
This tutorial is great, well explained. It gives a great idea to prepare a souvenir to someone who is going away, transferred or moving, I'd just add using a mask when applying the finishing spray just to be on the safe side. Thanks!
Moufflette Thank you and yes definitely have invested in a mask :) LoL ...thank you for stopping by ... Mahalo
Thanku! That was a great tutorial☺
Hi there, thanks for the tutorial.. very well detailed.. I followed your instructions as you explained however, once the mod podge dry out it left the marks from the foam brush.. like tiny lines from the glue. What can I do to fix this and make it not visible or even as yours? what did I do wrong?
Thank you! 💖
will aleene's acrylic sealer matte finish work , protect from dust im planning on making it today couldnt find the one you had
Thank you. I drew a picture on a paper. I am going to glue this artwork of mine to a canvas. Thanks.
I didn't know the coupon thing ! I spent quite a bit todaaay ahhhhhhh. Hope to try soon!
Barrilete Azul oh no! :-( yes there are coupons for Joanne's, Hobby Lobby and Michael's. Use your phone app. Hobby Lobby is always 40% regular price one item. so i always buy one of a large purchase and come back again hours or next day for next discount ... LoL
Great , thanks for this awesome tutorial :), great photography skills as well.
macrapidito Thank you. :) really appreciate the feedback and visiting me ... Mahalo ..Diane
Beautiful. Done. Thanks.
Many thanks!
Where did you get the clear acrylic matte coating at im planning on doing this as a christmas present for my mom tried to get the acrylic matte coating at walmart they didnt have the exact one and we dont have s micheal or a johanns close
Does the finished picture show the canvass texture like a painting or does it look smooth and flat like a photographic paper? I want the canvass texture to show like it was painted by a painter. Coarse and rustic.
Also, wonder if you have tried using the antique finish Mod Podge? if so, can you post the result? thx
good video --- Would it be good to do the edges before you modpodge the picture so no danger of getting extra glue around edges of picture?
Amazing tutorials (Part 1 and Part 2). I am so excited to try this on my own. Two Thumbs Up! You left no questions unanswered, so detailed. Love it! PS … : ) Hi Jonathan!
Thank you Miss LaGaringer :-) So easy to do ... would even look good with those beautiful hawaiian hula prints you have in your office ... I am often visiting your channel and listening to your AMAZING music! Thank you for always cheering me up and making me feel so much LOVED!! Have a great weekend! My kiddos and hubby also love listening to you. They often say, "I wish she was my Grammi!" You are so loved by so many!
LOL, I bet your Grammi loves all of you so much and misses you and can't wait to see you all. ;) I bet if she could, she would be living in SoCal just so she could be closer to you. : D
Nice 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
very very nice!
Some people said you didn't explain enough and some said you explained too much, you can't pleas everyone, I guess. You did well. Beautiful job.
Very nice :)
Very nice.
very cool, i'm going to try this Thanks
Henry Everhart- Martinez Thank you Henry.
What size is your BRUSH that you used in this tutorial? The only I can find in Hobby lobby is "Mod Podge Gold Taklon Brush Applicator - 2 1/4"
Thanks for sharing.
This is beautiful. How did you get this size photo . What printer did you use for this. Was it an inkjet printer or laser print?
Could you use liquid glass as a top coat instead of mod podge?
What was the original size of the photo before enlarging? How did you get the photo enlarged to a 16x20?
Thank you for taking the time to make this video!!! Awesome job. I have one question. Can Costco make a 16 x 20 from a 3 x 5? Or would it be blurred?
Nancy Schubert Noone would be able to expand a 3x5 into a 16x20 print. The pixels would be too small and the image would turn out very grainy. I'm sorry.
Is it possible to make a water color print look more like a real painting by texturing it somehow??
Thank you so much
You know...I know this is an old video....But i wonder if you thought about using a big lazy suzie to support underneath while you needed to paint/ mod podge the sides? Lol sorry that's something i would have done hahaha considering you were flipping it like a cake and all 🤣🤣. I thoroughly enjoyed this....THANK YOU for this, you just earned yourself a new sub and I'm going to try this.😁.
thanks you explain very nice
did you print the picture on a photopaper?
Nice job gal
What is the name of the spray your using
Hi! I hear people mention the Joanne discount, coupon ..... Where do I find the coupon? Is this coupon valid always? For every visit?
can i use a sponge?
I tried this for the first time and wow it was so easy and so much fun.....BUT...I have a few streaks...did I use to much or not enough? can I fix it with another layer?
Awesome I have had my canvas since i did this and it is still looking amazing --- the steaks are going to stay if it has already dried. -- you got them because maybe you did use too much or more than likely it wasn't smoothed over. try using a little at a time first and run the brush at one direction so you can smooth it over :-) ***hugs ..d
Maybe you should cover your table with a vinyl table cloth to protect your beautiful table. But all in all you did a great job. Kudos to you.
Thank you for the video. I love them so much that I keep coming back to watch them. You have a beautiful family and children. May I ask should I have the photo printed in Matt or gloss finish ? I don't like them shiny when they are on the wall...was your photo in the video in Matt finish ? Thanks Maria
Sodany21 Thank you Maria :) I prefer my prints to be Matte -- So I always choose Matte when I have them printed at Costco. And also choose the Modge Podge is Matte finish as well and it will not have that glossy reflection to it. Once you try it -- you'll realize how easy the process is and you will be addicted to making more ... :) Mahalo and Thank you for stopping by.
Oh my God i watched this video 9 years ago 😂 coming back because I have not done any and I think it is a good time to start - Thanks again for the video ❤
Why did you use a Matt spray and not gloss as the final coat.
I want to tell you my gratitude for making a new video for this tutorial. Although it's long but kudos to you for doing the effort! This video is more detailed and more helpful. I would prefer this better than to a short video but don't make sense. Please don't get me wrong but are you carrying a little one? If so, wow! Hands down to you for sharing a great tutorial while carrying a child. This means that you really care about your viewers and listens what viewers wants no matter what. That to me is an inspiration. Thank you! Btw, question. In regards about using the "Clear Acrylic", can I use any kind of brand? or do I have to use the one you are using? Please Advice and once again thank you! ;)
Question for anybody that would know.... For the picture does it have to be paper like printed from a computer or a picture printed from like Walmart, kinkos etc ??? I would love to start doing this for my home :) Thanks for the sharing this video ... You do an amazing job ;)
Hi :-) You could use any printed image with this process. A picture printed from Walmart, Kinkos, etc. will be perfect. Thanks for visiting me. :)
how much is that mat your working on and is it like a 20x 30 in size?
Aloha Linda. This was a 24x36 canvas I bought at Michaels for about $5. :)
You are a darling---very adorable. Thank you, thank you for the DIY. I am off to buy supplies. I will let you know how it goes!
Francisca Weber Thank you :) How did it turn out? :) Hope it was a great project for you. Mahalo ...Diane
Can you put all the supplies used in the description your instructions are great just maybe a list of all the items used in one list would help thank you.
Awesome job! I saw your very first video and thought you also did an awesome job explaining everything! I tried this on a photo I printed out on my home printer but it didn't turn out well but I am going to try it from a photo printed from Costco/Sam's.
Mahalo! Can't wait to see other projects!
islandquilter oh no I'm sorry it didn't turn out --- was the prints from Costco/Sams a better result? Let me know if you are having trouble and I can you through it myself ... :) Mahalo
I tried it and I am very pleased with my result! Thank you! QUESTION: I have a friend who is a professional artist. Her belief is that Mod Podge yellows over time. Have you had an experience with hod podge yellowing?
what resolution did you have your photo at when printing it? did you do any adjustments to it prior to printing? I have a canon t5i and shoot in RAW at 18M, I usually change the resolution to 300 in PS and make slight adjustments to the photos. would you happen to know if that would keep the high quality
this was a great video though and I will be trying it soon, thanks!
હાર્ડ બોડ મા પણ થઈ શકે. કેનવાસ મા જ ચોટાડવાનુ કેમ કર્યુ??
how long do i have to wait to put the second layer?
Aloha :) Once it's completely dry :) Otherwise you will have streaks :) Mahalo ...
Is it a lazer photo or a act all photo I understand the rest but I have been getting a lazer copy of a photo
Hi Lynley :) Any type of printed photo will work fine -- :)
+ASimplySimpleLife oh great but I used a thinner paper and found it hard to get creases out without ripping it so I trying thicker paper next time and I used a lazer photo on a3 paper not a actual photo I thought using the thinner paper would be able to see the canvas grain which you can but paper thinner hard to get creases out trying not to rip being wet with the mod Porge
What is all requirements
